Aintree lodge offers 26 en-suite rooms which vary in sizes namely from double/twin to family units which can sleep up to 5 per unit
school sports teams as i. hockey / soccer often stay with us
Our family units are most popular for accommodating guests attending weddings and functions in and around pietermaritzburg .
Together with these reservations is the equivalent in undercover parking bays
Together with our 24 hour secured parking Aintree also prides itself in being able to facilitate the ‘on site ‘secure parking of the larger vehicles and a bus or two .

To add to it is the fact that it is count down Christmas and very close to the start of a new year.
Our last Sunday lunch will be on the 16th of December
“ Christmas lunch and live music “
It will s to be noted that we will be serving Sunday lunch every Sunday up until the final one on the Sunday the 16th and it will be coupled with live music every Sunday.
Please book a table early and not phone on the Sunday just before lunch commences as this makes it difficult for us not only for catering purposes but also for seating arrangements

The last all-weather evening craft market for 2017 will be held on Friday 13 October 2017. The November market will be held on Sunday 5th and the last market of the year will be the Christmas market on Sunday 3 December. We aim to increase the size of the market in 2017 with more unique stall holders, without compromising on standard and quality. Aintree Lodge (31 Alice Grange Road - opposite the SPCA) Evening Craft Market THIS Friday 16 September 2016 at 18:00. (If the weather is "iffy" stalls will move into the marquee, verandah and dining room so dont stay away)!

A jungle gym to climb (if you are small enough);

"Popcorn, (sorry no chewing gum, or peanuts an' bubble gum)
Ice cream, candy floss an' Eskimo Pie" (credit to Jeremy Taylor) face painting and hair steaks;

Foot-tapping, body swaying, sing-a-long, laid-back live music;

Unique stall holders with an array of products, beautifully crafted, well presented and reasonably priced;

Salivating aroma's from a variety of vendor food stalls - deliciously prepared and presented, at a "fair" price;

Cup-cakes, cookies, chocolates and deliciously, decadent deserts ... (moenie die pannekoek en koeksusters vergeet nie)!! ... too good to walk past;

Snacks, delicacies, condiments, deli items, jams and other niceties that you want, rather than need, and just can't resist;

Liquid refreshments - hot and cold, non-alcoholic and alcoholic or, nibble on your favourite Ola ice-cream.

The stall holders are getting ready for the next night market on Friday 19 August 2016. Looking forward to seeing one and all from 18:00 - Good food, hot drinks or a cold beer - wonderful live music, craft stalls and a Friday night out - what more could one want?!

We would like to thank the wonderful folk of Pietermaritzburg, for venturing out on a chilly Friday evening, to support Aintree Lodge's 1st evening market. Thank you too to our stall holders for being with us.

We have 8 more stall holders lined up for next months market (19 August 2016) already and will be adding Hamburgers, Stir fry, Vetkoek and Curry and Rice to food stalls.

Thank you to those who have given us feedback and made suggestions.
