The Land Rover Adventure is a series of activity based 4×4 events where teamwork and a spirit of adventure are the key components for a fun filled 48 Hours of Land Rover camaraderie and adventure. The 4 part series takes place in some of the most beautiful and remote places in South Africa challenging competitors to combine strategy, knowledge and skill to be one of the 12 teams that will go throu
gh to compete in the Grand Final at the 2014 Landy Festival for prizes to the value of R50 000.
- The Land Rover Adventure Series is open to all models of Land Rovers and is limited to 10 teams of 2 people per event.
- While driving your Land Rover will be a key component of the event, the routes and activities have been selected to accommodate all models of Land Rovers (This includes Defenders, Freelanders, Discoveries, Evoques and Range Rovers).
- This is not a gungho 4×4 challenge where braun and diff lockers are the order of the day. To win one of the Land Rover Adventure Series events will take a combination of skill, experience and strategic thinking.
- The top three teams from each event will go through to the Grand Final at the 2014 Landy Festival where they will compete in front of 1000’s of people for R50 000 worth of prizes.
