Capitec :
Writing this post with the worst experience ever. On 18 November 2024 I wanted to do a deposit inside the Cleary Park Capitec Branch. I was however convinced to rather deposit outside at the ATM's. After depositing the money, I called one of the Capitec Staff to assist as the money did not reflect in my account. I was assisted by the staff and that was the start of my bad experience with Capitec. From there I had to visit the branch numerous times for follow ups and today is the 03 December 2024 and the money is still not reflecting in my account. I phoned client services and was given a dispute number, I revisited the Branch and received an incident number. Yet....almost a month later and my money is still not in my account. Response from the bank: "we gave your money back". I'm banking private and business with capitec and planning to move to another bank with this poor service from Capitec bank.

Worst part of it all...I was told to deposit at the ATM where there is NO SECURITY...NO CAMERAS....a Capitec Staff member had to run to FNB across them and also Centre Management to ask them from assistance from their cameras. Little did I know depositing the money outside was not safe as there was no cameras. I will open a case of theft at the police station against Capitec. POOR POOR POOR....the branch staff ran around as they themselves did not know what to do
