Some updates from the TasteBud Company! We've just completed a week of catering for the Fountain Pastors Leaders Advance, serving approximately 675 meals during the 5-day event at The Riet River Camp! The TasteBud ladies have truly been exceptional. Last night, we announced the two winners of our Valentine's competition! 💗 😄 A big thank you to everyone who participated. I was moved by this video and was reminded of the quote of Mahatma Gandhi. He said "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." I would like to add the word 'Elderly' to that quote. Elderly and animals need a voice. As I watched this video, I was reminded of my special mom who lived with us for 12 years. Christmas! Christmas! How I love Christmas 🎄 as I tucked my 7 year old Amy into bed (many years ago, this was the night after Christmas) she whispered 'Mama, I love Christmas!' I responded 'Why my love?' She responded .. 'Wherever we go everyone is so nice to each other!' For me it's a time to breathe and relax in my home 🏠 love this time of the year ... Family, friends and food ###

Our Story

I established my catering company in 2007. My first client was Slender Wonder where I learnt so much about weight loss and creating meals according to a given weight loss formula. We started off with about 10 products and within months we had increased our meals to over 40 deliciously home cooked meals. The customers loved the meals and at times it was hard to keep up. I served the company for about 7 years and eventually the catering for Slender Wonder came to an end as the company changed hands.

Soon my creative side started to explore the possibility of creating delicious home cooked meals once again! I knew there was a need for it, and decided to explore the possibility. It was a hit.

Our little kitchen created delicious Italian and Moroccan meatballs, Thai Chicken, Chicken Stroganoff, Beef Lasagne, Braided Chicken Pies and much more! I loved the taste and the smells emanating from my kitchen. Soon we became well known.

My darling Ash who had worked for me for over 15 years at the time, was there to meet the challenge with me. Soon we had a following. Once people tasted our home cooked frozen meals, our customer data base increased and so did our sales.
