This week the local theatre world lost one of our quiet legends. Jerry Fortuin you were a trailblazer as well as an immense talent.
In many G&S shows especially from the 80s and 90s you'll see Jerry front and centre, a superb dancer and choreographer who was one of the most genuine and lovely people in the world of amateur theatre.
Thank you for being someone who proved that art is for all people regardless of a government that said you should not be on stage with your G&S family. You were a much loved role model, a great choreographer and dancer as well as a wonderful human being.
Heaven must be ringing with the sound of your tap shoes and that infectious laughter that always had everyone giggling and laughing with you.
