ll F O O D D R I V E ll We've had a strong sense of need to help and be of service to the KZN community where there's a dire shortage of food.

We've found a way and THIS IS HOW YOU CAN HELP TOO!!

We're piggy backing on the incredible work are doing with their food drive with the help of their courier partners.

They launched a non perishable food/supplies drive that will be driving to KZN on MONDAY to drop off and distribute to the needy.

Please could you drop off whatever you can afford - non perishable food, baby food, formula, sanitary care, pet food etc. to our store in Waterkloof Heights over the weekend. EVERY DROP HELPS!!

Let's go the extra mile to demonstrate care and humanity!

ll 💔 ll We have decided to stay home and keep our shop doors shut until it is safe to re-open.

Our hearts are breaking for all the businesses being looted and burnt down to the ground. Infrastructure being destroyed and people left without jobs in the most vulnerable of times.

ll R U S (tenburg) ll Over the past two months our work expanded into 3 other provinces - North-West, Limpopo and Mpumalanga.

Up before sunrise and home waaay past sunset.

It's been a good couple of months and although we may not be in the full swing of things right now and confided within boarders, we consider ourselves incredibly LUCKY to have clients that take us places.

ll 🇯🇵 🇯🇵 🇯🇵 ll We say konichiwa from this Kokeshi inspired set up we did just this past weekend (how was that for great timing?! )

Pulling out all the colour cards under the Japanese sun, we had just the right amount of Japanese charm, a bright umbrella & origami canopy and mismatched patterns to create a Kokeshi Festival.

Ten stars to our creative client who imported just about everything Kokeshi (and more) to create the best cultural experience for her guests.

Oh and that Torri gate - the absolute cherry (blossom) on top!

ll H I G H 5 ll Queue the confetti - today marks the big FIVE YEAR BIRTHDAY milestone for Konfetti Love!

And that's not all, it also marks ONE year since opening our shop space at and TWO years since this beauty (scroll left) has joined our team!

I feel exceptionally lucky, now more than ever, that we are still in business. Fullstop.
We are still doing what we love and we are continuely blessed with incredible clients who allow is to dream big!

What a wild and wonderful ride the past 5 years have been. There has been many highs and many lows. Plenty of dusk till dawn days. But boy oh boy, my team, they just get stronger and better. Natasha, Elias, Itu and Cliff - you make each day worth it and I owe so much to you guys. DANKIE. KE A LEBOGA. THANK YOU. TATENDA.

I'm thanking the lessons of the past year, especially the ones I feel like cursing and welcoming a new year with all the sweetness, softness and gratitude in my big old Konfetti heart.

ll DISCO BALLS COMPULSORY ll Were are back after an extended instagram break and it’s so good to be back.

Starting the new year off during the peak of a second COVID-19 wave has been quite a roller coaster to be honest. One week you have a full packed week and the next it’s all up in the air. We have seen events being cancelled for the second, third and fourth time, industry friends crying for help and some sadly, devastatingly closing their doors.

We are truly thankful to the ever ongoing support of our clients. Konfetti Love has been such an amazing outlet for all of us during a tumultuous time. We are able to be creative, still consult with clients and we are so grateful for that! 💕

Beyond these cloudy days are sunshine, happiness and tons of disco balls waiting for the music to come back on! ;-)

ll P I N K O R B L U E ll We recently had the absolute joy of planning a Gender Reveal celebration for a very special client of ours.

We chose to go the very risky pink and blue route because hey, we love colour!
Although we kept the rest of the decor fairly minimal there were equal parts blue and pink used throughout the decor and we had all the guests guessing.

ll P A W - T Y T I M E ll Last weekend we celebrated our eldest daughter, Olivia's 9th birthday with a Doggy theme.

As always she had a few, but very specific requirements. This year she requested that it had to be a Dog themed party, it must be mostly blue (her favourite colour) and the cake must resemble a real dog. 🤪

Unbeknownst to her, the party was a massive side line and we would be gifting her her most precious gift for her birthday - a little poodle which she named, Charlie. 🐶

From the most adorable cake, beautiful matching stationery to the doggy bone macaroons - it was a perfect day and we had all the tails wagging.

Thank you to EACH and every supplier making this a special birthday for our Olivia and to my dear friend for capturing this memorable birthday so perfectly.
