Elsa se Kombuis Elsas has been there for you since 1963. According to history Elsa's Kitchen started with Elsa Fourie baking and selling koeksisters from her home.

Elsa's kitchen has been around for 50 years and is well-known throughout the country and not only in the East of Pretoria. It all started when Menlo park High School had their first Athletics meeting in 1963 for which she supplied huge amounts of koeksisters. Due to heavy rains, the meeting was cancelled. In order to sell the koeksisters she came across an available shop in 13th Avenue, Menlo park

, between the Post Office and Dairy. The shop was immediately popular amongst young and old. In 2005 Sarna and Magriet Coetsee bought the shop. They expanded to a food section that supplied a variety of fresh dishes on a daily basis such as pies, cooked meals, sweet and savoury platters, salads and soups. Customers are able to order dishes according to their preferences. Elsa's supplies catering dishes for any function.
