We have some exciting news to share!💍🍾

We’ve been keeping a little secret, and it’s finally time to reveal it to you! The Living Chapel has undergone a stunning transformation!🌿

We have listened to your feedback and made some upgrades. Our previously open-air chapel was lovely, but not always practical for sunny or rainy days. We also heard your concerns about the greenery roof and cladding that made lighting uneven for photos 📸☀️

Now picture this: a breathtaking, large glass feature window overlooking lemon trees, flooding the space with natural light as you say your “I do’s” - an absolute game changer for photography and videography! 🍋 And that’s not all – there is no more need to worry about the weather, because we have linked the two roofs 🤩 Your guests will still enjoy the outdoor feeling, with the open sides overlooking the surrounding Rosemary fields 🌿

When redesigning the space, we drew on inspiration from our reception venues, The Barn and The Distillery, ensuring The Living Chapel transformation truly compliments each space. We got creative - blending rustic charm with modern elegance and incorporating more steel features into the space, giving it a modern-industrial feel 💫

We are so excited about this transformation and look forward to sharing it with you all in person!🥂

That’s right, we need someone with loads of experience in managing the rooms division and laundry at a medium to large lodge or guesthouse. We accommodate 140 guests and need someone to support our amazing team of housekeepers as well as laundry and support staff.

The ideal candidate:

5️⃣ 5+ years of experience in a similar role
✅ Proficient in computers, budgeting, inventory control and basic HR
🚙 Own transport (and a valid licence😉)
🇿🇦 Must be a South African citizen
💪 Ready to work very hard – even on weekends!

💒 Today, we are thrilled to shine the spotlight on Caryn, the creative force behind our weddings at Rosemary Hill! Throughout her incredible 11-year journey with us, Caryn’s dedication and passion for her role has shone through in every wedding she has coordinated.

🏫 Did you know Caryn’s connection to Rosemary Hill runs deep? She actually grew up on the farm, attending The Waldorf School nestled within our grounds, where her mother was a beloved teacher. In a delightful twist of fate, the very space she now calls her office was once the venue for her very own first birthday party!

🤩Caryn leads our dream team with grace and expertise, orchestrating an impressive 80 weddings annually. Not only has she played a pivotal role in our success, but she’s personally coordinated an astounding 244 weddings and planned a further 122 out of the 721 weddings hosted at Rosemary Hill over the past 14 years.

❤️But Caryn’s contributions extend beyond her professional achievements. She embodies the values of hard work and compassion, always ready to lend a hand to her colleagues and clients alike. Caryn fights for what is right, especially for animals and those who don’t have a voice, making her not only an exceptional coordinator but also a champion for the causes she believes in.

🏆 It’s worth noting that it was Caryn’s colleagues who voted for her to receive the prestigious “Employee of the Year” trophy at our recent annual award ceremony, highlighting the profound impact she has on those around her.
