As a kid growing up in Roodepoort my mom was part of a team who presented the Roodepoort Spring Ball, The Annual Mayor's Ball and the Valentine's Ball. She presented flower arranging classes at the Witpoortjie Community Centre. I grew up with the old school way of arranging flowers. Later years my mother specialised in weddings and since my teenage years I have always had a creative flair with flo
