I'm often asked which I enjoy more, photography or videography.

Honestly, there isn't a "better"... I love the storytelling ability of video, but when it comes to crystalising a moment in time, nothing beats a photograph to suspend the impact of the moment for eternity... ❤️❤️

There's Just something about coastal Shoots!... Maybe it's just because it's different from the usual Highveld shoots... No such thing as "better", but definitely different... It was great using the warming filter on the 860V flash to match the colour balance of the sunset paired with the incredible focus tracking of the R6II for well lit, tack sharp images straight out of camera

Great Day today teaming up with Lood Goosen Photography shooting with my Neewer Constant Lighting for the Cover of Stokvel Magazine. Flash is great, but it was a refreshing change to see what we could do with constant lighting. Still loving my Neewer MS150B lights and the Neewer BH30 "stick" LED lights . . . impressing me every day with their versatility from Videography to Photography . . . Weddings, Concerts or Corporates . . they are incredible

This has been by far one of the coolest shoots I've done so far. I met some incredible people from all over the world, each with their own unique set of "skills"... We public folks live with blinkers on as to how truly vulnerable we really are regarding our own internet security. People wouldnt nearly be as casual as they are with their personal info if they knew what could be done with all that they post on social media.... Fortunately, I was with the "good" guys who merely advised and demonstrated what could be done, and not what should be done 😊.. Shout out to all these talented guys and girls helping make this cyber world a little safer for everyone every day 🙏

There are few truly pure, beautiful and real things left in this world 🌸 . . . But families 👩‍👩‍👦‍👦 are most definitely one of those sacred things that check all the boxes ❤️

Such a privilege to shoot a few families again recently, especially this one in an incredible private estate. A stunning venue for a stunning family.

While I love Flash photography, and I often refer to myself as an "enhanced natural light" photographer, It was a refreshing change to shoot completely natural light for this shoot 📸 . . . Yes, real photographers can do both 😉😁
