Like I've said, Caribbean food and African food have huge similarities. The transatlantic slave trade took millions of people from Africa and created a new world.
The integration of all the cultures built new recipes and dishes from new ingredients but we had to use our original knowledge to create them.
Now here we are brining the Caribbean back to Africa, but it should seem so different as our roots are from the same earth.
