Yesterday, I was having a conversation with my Wife about Productivity.

I told her I could do more and achieve more if I structured my day.

She laughed 😂😂😂😂

“You fight living a regimented life, you fight structure. It won’t work” she said.

So the solution we came up was Block out 4 hours in my day to do the things that are important to my growth.

1 hour for running

1 hour for Recording video

1 hour for Reading

1 hour for Research

I can do whatever I want as long as it’s not the blocked hour.

Let’s see if this works

When a photographer is asked "How much do you charge" and they go " hmmm" "you know" some even say everything except answering the question. Some will say "My price is so and so" and in the same sentence go "but i also have this and this and that"

On the surface,it looks like a confidence issue. It's either the photographer is not confident in his work or in himself as an artist, or both.

But if you look deeper, you realise it is a Strategy problem. The goal of strategy is to get clear on who your photography is for. That will influence what you offer them and how much you charge them. And how you communicate what you offer to these people, thereby attracting the right prospect for your business.

It takes away the anxiety of not knowing whether you are too costly or too cheap. The reason some people fail at this is because, they are not sure if the price is way above the prospect making enquiry, thereby giving them options they never asked for.

That is a failure to have a strategy as a business.

In conclusion, the next time you cannot clearly state your price without your heart beating fast and your palms sweating, go back to your strategy as a business.
