START:
Upon arrival the birthday girl and her guests will be greeted with 'bubbly' in champagne glasses. Once settled, they will be shown a quick presentation on the do's and dont's of the studio, the basic rules of modeling and they will view a short video, which shows in detail, how much post processing goes into the photographs they are used to seeing in magazines. This puts perspective on how
fake the world of modeling can be. That said, our emphasis is that everyone is beautiful, just as they are
PREPARATIONS:
As soon as everyone is settled, the birthday girl as well as all her friends have the opportunity to have professional make-up done. THE SHOOT:
The shoot will focus primarily on the birthday girl as she is the star of the shoot but everyone will get the opportunity to pose alone as well as with the birthday girl, best friend, in groups etc. The photographs are projected live as they are taken so that anyone who is not being photographed at the time can view the photographs. We do have a lounge area set up for the parents so that the can watch the progress of the shoot. CONCLUSION:
The shoot will conclude when everyone has had a turn and the photographer is happy with the photographs taken during the shoot. Approximately two and a half hours is spent shooting, and between 450 - 600 pictures will be taken. MAGAZINE:
An optional extra would be a 24 page, glossy magazine featuring the birthday girl on the cover. The magazine would contain pictures from the party, fun facts on the birthday girl as well as a letter from mom and dad. WHAT TO BRING:
- 1 or 2 change of clothes for the birthday girl
- Food and Beverages
- An iPod with the birthday girls favourite music on
- Props (hats, glasses, scarves, guitars, microphone, skateboard etc)
