Rwanda is praised for many different things from being the land of 1000 hills, to hosting the few left mountain gorillas in the world! The one thing that Rwandans are mostly proud of is being the cleanest City in Africa. Keeping Kigali clean requires all-hands on deck attitude, effort and discipline. All plastic bags and similar materials are banned. Umuganda is a well-known practice that is conducted every last Saturday of the month and takes root from the Rwandan culture. The first step to not only a clean city but also a clean country and clean households. Today we had an opportunity to join the locals and add our little contribution. Tourvest MICE is in total awe on how everyone works together towards one common goal whether young or old. We look forward to hosting the 11th AfrEA Conference in Kigali, Rwanda 18 - 22 March 2024.
