Rwanda is praised for many different things from being the land of 1000 hills, to hosting the few left mountain gorillas in the world! The one thing that Rwandans are mostly proud of is being the cleanest City in Africa. Keeping Kigali clean requires all-hands on deck attitude, effort and discipline. All plastic bags and similar materials are banned. Umuganda is a well-known practice that is conducted every last Saturday of the month and takes root from the Rwandan culture. The first step to not only a clean city but also a clean country and clean households. Today we had an opportunity to join the locals and add our little contribution. Mayoral Committee Member Alderman James Vos paid the team a special visit last week and unveiled the City’s new airport branding. "Our internationally acclaimed airport is a key feature in our travel and tourism offer and the gateway to our city. Branding at our airport is key to communicate with our locals and visitors," said Alderman Vos.

To all our essential workers.
