Here is a very lekker video to watch if you have time! I decided to update Episode 1 of "What makes the Eastern Free State lekker?", because a few places have changed in the two years since I made the first episode. We feature Senekal, Paul Roux, Marquard, Clocolan, Ficksburg, Rosendal and their districts in this 50 minute episode. The episode is made in three parts, because it's slightly longer. We received wonderful news today. One of our episodes from "What makes the Eastern Free State lekker?" has been selected as a finalist at the International Tourism Film Festival Africa, to be held from 12-14 June in Gauteng where the winners will be announced. Awesome event coming up: SENEKAL SUNFLOWER CHALLENGE on 30 March 2024.
We invite people from all over South Africa to take up the challenge and/or join us for a weekend of fun. March and April are spectacular sunflower and cosmos months in our region. You will test your fitness at a high level, while at the same time help us raise funds to maintain our recently renovated swimming pool. Please read the information on the photo. More detail to follow soon.
You can choose to Run (21 km), Cycle (90 km), or Swim (1,9km), or do all three in one day!
We have space for exhibitors, food stalls, etc and there will be live music!!
