Dtrekka Venue Contact us for your events now! We have garden and patio seating with incredible views of the mountains and vineyards.

We are an outdoor garden event & function venue, situated 10km outside of Stellenbosch, surrounded by the Winelands vineyards and mountains. The patio is covered to provide shade and all garden tables have umbrellas. If the weather is not great, then we can accommodate your group on the patio and inside. We cater for groups up to 350 people and have space to park 100 - 150 cars in secure parking

We operate a tavern style Tshisanyama (braai) like what you get at Mzoli. This means that all food items are generally prepared on the outdoor fires & braai area. We offer a traditional braai, spitbraai and potjies/curries prepared on the fire. With this, we will also offer a selection of freshly prepared salads from our organic garden (potato, coleslaw, 4 bean and green salad) along with traditional papnsous or rice. We will also provide a simple starter of dips, pates and bread/biscuits as well as a simple dessert. We can also offer you the potjie option (chicken curry and Mediterranean lamb) with all accompaniments. If you would require another dinner option or have a set budget that you need to cater for, then we are happy to discuss this further with you. We will substitute the meat with fish options for vegetarians (either tuna steaks or snoek). We only serve Halaal meat (from certified Halaal suppliers) at our venue. Please note that we are not a Halaal certified kitchen. We have a fully licensed bar offering all standard alcoholic beverages as well as soft options and cold drinks. All drinks need to be purchased from our venue (no outside alcohol or beverages allowed). If you have any specific beverage requests, then please let us know and we will stock whatever you need for your event.

The farm is in mourning. It will be a tough one to swallow. It is with an INCREDIBLY HEAVY HEART that Dtrekka Farm announces the passing of one of our MOST dearly loved souls. Not only have we lost a talented a chef, but a life-long friend and brother to Murray Tonathy Our thoughts and PRAYERS go out to Leon Evlambiou 's FAMILY, FRIENDS and LOVED ONES. We wish his two grown boys, Manoli and Michali, and their families our sincerest LOVE. Know that you will ALWAYS be family, and are ALWAYS WELCOME at Dtrekka Farm, where Leon's Herb Garden will live on in his memory. Leon, may you rest in the hills of heaven, free from pain and anguish. May your days up there be filled with LOVE and beauty, reunited and resting in the arms of your wife, Sia. After starting our upgrading process and revamping we have been asked to open for bookings. From 1 July 2019 we will be open for viewings and bookings.

We will be bringing you a new look, with a fresh space and beautiful views. As the name says you will have a stunning view of Simonsberg Mountains from the patio overlooking the Winelands. With the colour changing magic as the sun sets behind the venue facing the mountains.
