Cheetah tear marks. There are many theories why they have these facial marking, The most common one is that they help reduce the glare from the sun. Cheetahs usually hunt during the time of day when the sun is low on the horizon😎

Did you know? That Cheetahs have approximately 2000 spots and that each one's spot pattern is completely unique! Like a finger print ~ no two are the same

Did you know? Cheetahs have non retractable claws that they use for grip when running 🏃‍♂️

The dewclaw is their sharp claw used for hunting! 💪🏽

Did you know that there are only around 6500 free roaming cheetah left in the wild? Their numbers are rapidly falling due to conflict with farmers, wildlife trade, as well as hunting.

It's our responsibility to learn more about the animals that we share this world with and the struggles they endure due to our fellow humans.
