was there, celebrating the bestowing of The Order Of Ikamanga upon one of our country's political and journalism Veteran Dr Mathatha Tsedu. In company were other veterans like Judge Tshifhiwa Maumela, Poet and former Speaker of Limpopo Legislature Mr Rashaka Ratsh*tanga, Former Azapo President Cde Mosibudi Mangena, and several others.
One of key questions discussed was whether it's possible for people that were previously oppressed and colonised, to perpetually live with emotional and mental scars of such oppression. If so, what can we, individually and collectively do to end the presumed self-hate and anger which continue to manifest themselves through destruction of our own infrastructure, our respective properties as well as each other. Dr Tsedu argued, amongst others, that unless we zoom into the future and start putting an end to all social ills that continue to reign in our country post democracy, we could, in 20 years from now, find ourselves with no country 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
