Italian Nut and Nougat Confection Recipe 😗
I love nougat.
I will make some soon. It's important dear Foodies, that when you make homemade fudge or toffee or nougat that you invest in a candy thermometer.

Ingredients:
1 tbsp lemon zest
2 large egg whites
1 1/3 cups honey
1 pinch of salt
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 3/16 cup white sugar
3 cups roasted almonds
1 cup roasted pistachios
2 (8×10-inch) sheets wafer paper or rice paper you can get it at speciality baking stores.

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
In a saucepan, heat the honey over medium heat until it reaches 240°F (115°C) on a candy thermometer.
Gradually pour the hot honey into the egg whites, whisking constantly until well combined.
Stir in the lemon zest, salt, vanilla extract, and sugar.
Fold in the roasted almonds and pistachios until evenly distributed.
Spread the mixture onto the wafer paper, covering it evenly and pressing it down firmly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
Allow to cool completely before cutting into pieces and serving.

Homemade Sweet and sour sauce

Steps:
In a small saucepan, add the sugar, vinegar, and water.
Place over medium heat, whisking constantly until sugar is melted. Add the ketchup whisk to combine.
In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Bring the vinegar mixture to a slow boil, slowly stream in the cornstarch and water slurry while whisking constantly. Optional, drop 1-2 drops of red food coloring.
Cook until thickened, about 30 seconds. Serve and enjoy!

Orange and Cranberry Biscotti with Pistachios.

From my amazing recipes

Ingredients:
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3 large eggs
• 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
• Zest of 2 oranges
• 1 cup dried cranberries
• 1 cup shelled pistachios, chopped

Directions: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add the melted butter and orange zest. Mix well. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the cranberries and chopped pistachios until evenly distributed in the dough. Divide the dough in half and shape each portion into a log on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the logs are golden brown and firm to the touch. Allow the logs to cool for 10 minutes, then slice them into biscotti-shaped pieces. Place the slices back on the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until they are crisp and lightly browned. Cool completely before indulging in these irresistible Orange Biscotti!

Super Moist Microwave Milo Cake

*INGREDIENTS*

*1 Cup flour
*¾ Cup sugar
*2½ Teasp baking powder
*Pinch salt
*5 Tablesp oil
*1 Teasp vanilla
*2 Eggs
*3 Heaped tablesp Milo
*1 Cup hot water
*1 Heaped tablesp
coffee

*METHOD*

1) In a bowl beat everything together with an electric be**er for a minute and pour the batter into a 2 liter ice cream tub. 2) Bake it for 8 minutes and leave it in the microwave for few minutes, take it out of tub and let it cool down.

*For Milo Ganache*

*½ Cup sugar
*2 Heaped tablesp corn flour
*3 Tablesp Milo
Mix together

1) Add 1 cup milk and put on medium heat on the stove,
mix well stirring till it becomes a thick paste. 2) When it bubbles remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla and a tablespoon butter and mix thoroughly. 3) Cut the cake in 2 SANDWICH slices then spread on the one half of Milo ganache. Put the other half on top and add the rest of the Milo ganache over the second half ..🙋

CREAMY LEMON SQUARES – One of my favorite desserts of all time!
FOR THE CRUST
4 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled, plus more for pan
1-1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
FOR THE FILLING
2 large egg yolks
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (3 lemons)

How to make it :
Preheat oven to 350F / 180C degrees.
Brush a square baking dish with melted butter.
Crush graham crackers
Then add in sugar and butter and blend to mix.
Press mixture into bottom of prepared pan.
Bake until lightly browned, 8 to 12 minutes.
Cool crust, 30 minutes

TO MAKE THE FILLING
*In a large bowl, whisk together egg yolks and condensed milk.
*Add lemon juice; whisk until smooth.
*Pour filling into cooled crust; carefully spread to edges.
*Bake until set, about 15 minutes.
*Cool in pan on rack.
*Chill at least 1 hour before serving.
Serve with whipped cream.

My pecan pie cheesecake - Don't Lose This Recipe 😄
For the crust:
1 sleeve graham crackers, finely crushed
5 tbsp melted butter
¼ cup brown sugar, packed
Pinch of salt

For the cheesecake:
3 (8 oz). blocks cream cheese, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
3 large eggs
¼ cup sour cream
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp salt

For the topping:
4 tbsp butter
½ cup brown sugar, packed
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ cup heavy cream
1 ¾ cup whole or chopped pecans
Pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 325 F degrees.
Spray a 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray.
Mix graham crackers, butter, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl to make the crust.
Press the crust into the pan.
Beat cream cheese and brown sugar with a hand mixer in a bowl.
Add your eggs in one at a time.
Add sour cream, flour, vanilla, and salt. Mix.
Pour the mixture into the pan with the crust.
Wrap the bottom of the pan in aluminum foil and place it on your baking sheet.
Bake for an hour.
Once the cheesecake is done baking, open the oven slightly and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for one hour while it’s off.
Take the cheesecake out of the oven and let it cool in the fridge for at least 5 hours.
Make your topping by melting butter and brown sugar in a skillet on low heat. Let it start to bubble.
Add in cinnamon, heavy cream, pecans, and salt. Mix.
Let the mixture cool off the heat for 20 minutes.
Pour it over the cheesecake and serve.

CHOCOLATE MALVA PUDDING

INGREDIENTS
15 ml margarine
125 ml sugar
1 egg
30 ml apricot jam
5 ml bicarbonate of soda
125 ml milk
250 ml cake flour
45 ml cocoa powder
1 pinch of salt
15 ml vinegar

SAUCE
125 ml margarine
185 ml sugar
30 ml cocoa powder
65 ml water
185 ml cream
5 ml vanilla essence

PUDDING INSTRUCTIONS
Cream butter and sugar together, beat in egg until light and fluffy.
Beat in apricot jam.
Dissolve the bicarbonate of soda in the milk.
Sift the flour, cocoa powder and the salt together and add it to the creamed mixture slowly adding the milk.
Lastly stir in the vinegar.
Pour into a deep round dish 19 cm in size.
Bake for 1 hour and 180°C

SAUCE INSTRUCTIONS
Bring the margarine, sugar, cocoa powder and water to the boil and simmer, stirring all the time for about 2 minutes.
Remove from the stove and then add cream and the vanilla essence.
Pour over the hot pudding.
