A message from Mara:

Tuesday marked 8 years since our very first wedding and I cannot believe that it’s been that long. It feels rather surreal reminiscing about how it all started and how this business has grown so organically from strength to strength. For something that has been such a passion project I have been forced to take a moment to recognise that my passions may no longer be aligned. For many reasons, some personal, I feel like I need to press pause and evaluate where to from here. This has been something that has been on my mind for quite some time and I just feel like I need the space to explore new avenues and opportunities. I am not sure if this is the end of The Venue Fontana, but I have at least for now decided not to take any bookings for 2024. I may release a few limited dates at a later stage but right now I am considering my options and the new way forward. So it’s not “goodbye”, but rather a, “see you later”… until I decide for sure.
