Unfortunately due to a rainy weather forecast on both the 29 and 30th of April, the food market has been postponed. We will communicate the new date and registered stalls will remain registered for the new date. Due to high demand, it will no-longer be just a food market but a farmers & crafters market.

Our first official event surpassed all expectations.

What was meant to be a mere "soft launch" via a Kids Jamboree turned out to be an exceptional outing for both the kids and their parents.

Planning had been made for approximately 200 attendees and the online tickets were sold out.

However, we couldn't turn back throngs of kids at the gate who were accompanied by their parents, and we ended up having more than double the initial envisaged number.

We are very happy with how event turned out, it was way more than our anticipation. We are grateful to the parents who brought their kids and hope that this is the beginning of many more such events to be hosted at Confluence. We have taken a strategic approach to market Confluence as a family-oriented establishment because we've seen parents having to travel to places outside Mthatha in order to access similar facilities for their families.

Parents expressed pleasure and gratitude that there is now a proper facility that they can go out to with their children, within close proximity of where they stay.

One parent said, "Initially I bought the tickets just to try out the place, but after attending today's Jamboree I will always bring my kids here".

We have also taken note of the suggestions and will implement most of them as our aim is to create a both child and adult friendly environment.

Confluence is a newly opened entertainment venue on the airport side of the Mthatha Dam.

It boasts loads of parking and massive picnic grounds.
