Warm and cosy is a cabin with a western aspect and a barn full of firewood.

Where clouds are the only hackers, the deep porch with a fire pit is a haven for sun worshippers by day, and those looking for a connection to the Milky Way by night

Inside:
Opening onto the porch with the firepit suitable for braaing, is an open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen area warmed by an open fireplace.

Bedroom 2: queensize bed.

For those who know KHAYA, he is calm, caring and gentle by nature, quick with a smile and always ready to lend a helping hand at REDVERSDALE

His name means ‘our home’

We are looking forward to getting back onto an even keel .. we’ve had some pretty narly seas to navigate of late! The gale force winds that fueled the raging veld fires during the last long weekend (9 August), a severe snow storm this past long weekend (24 September) resulting in 11 (ELEVEN) days of no electricity at all for the duration of the entire school holidays .. BUT, as sure as spring follows winter, so too is a summer saturated in sunshine,
drowning in rushing rivers,
illuminated with lush leafiness and rainbow stained skies,
waiting in the wings,
hopefully with some very capable technicians to restore our P⚡️O⚡️W⚡️E⚡️R

On the banks of the NGWAGWANE RIVER :

Basking in the afterglow of the magical snow dump that has quenched our rivers and streams and given life to our parched soils -
we exhale the stress of last weekend’s blizzards and blisters,
watering and feeding livestock,
broken branches and blocked roads,

… we are proud places of peace and tranquility.
Who cares that we still don’t have electricity ?

Eskom are still working tirelessly to restore electricity to our entire district - one line at a time.

Heartfelt thanks go to our guests who have honoured their holiday bookings and embraced the situation;
turned off their cellphones and wholeheartedly devoted their time and energy to being truly present with their loved ones ❤️⚡️❤️⚡️❤️⚡️❤️
