We're presenting to you: IMLA Guest Farm (outside Clocolan, Eastern Free State, South Africa), the host race venue for the 2022 EXP Africa Adventure Racing World Series - Africa Series Regional Championship happening on the weekend of 4 - 6 Nov '22.
Accommodation options: Guest house (R500pp/night), Backpackers (R300pp/night), Tented-village with tent provided (R250pp/night), camping area with own tent (R75pp/night) and caravan/bush van (R315/night/stand for 2 people). We are very fortunate to have sunny winter days in the Gauteng province, South Africa. That's why we can still race in winter, no need to hibernate.
The next @expafrica.net 10km/25km Adventure Race is happening on Sun, 5 June 2022 at the farm venue, Tweefontein Melkery in Kempton Park. Yes, they will have a fire or 2 going for the early morning chill but after that you will warm up quickly once you have started the race.
Remember, summer bodies are made in winter.

Merrell Wakkerstroom Tourism Association - Tourism Mpumalanga South Africa Wetlands Game Lodge Adventure Racing World Series - Africa Series
In less than a months time the EXP Africa Wakkerstroom 60km & 120km Adventure race which is part of the 5-race series of the Adventure Racing World Series - Africa Series will be taking place in Wakkerstroom, Mpumalanga, South Africa.
Thinus and Joléne from EXP Africa scouted the area extensively in December 2021 and Thinus finalised the last bits of the route this past weekend. The kayak leg will take place on the Zaaihoek Dam which is currently overflowing but like Thinus said, you won't be paddling close to the dam wall.
Very limited accommodation left at the race venue, Wetlands Game Lodge (6.5km 's outside of Wakkerstroom) - contact them asap as they are offering a BIG special which is valid until 1 May '22.
