Whether you’re a beginner or a kitchen pro, there’s something for everyone. I have over 30 classes with a duration of 90-120 mins taught from a home kitchen. Our lessons are designed to be informative and hands on, but easy-going so you can enjoy yourself while you learn. We also offer hands-on lessons at a location of your choice for celebrating special occasions – whether it’s a birthday, bachel

orette, kids’ party or corporate event. You can also buy gift vouchers for our lessons which make the perfect gift for your foodie friends. Cooking good food is one of the most important life skills you can learn. I honestly believe that anyone can eat better, and ultimately live better, if they have the right information and tools available to them. Full knowledge of kosher if a requirement.
Pricing depends on menu and number of guests but would start at R3500 a meal (excluding ingredients). In the comments please leave your location and preferred dates if you’d be interested so I can get a sense where/ if most interest would be.

A gorgeous birthday dinner for my wife at Li Jiang . Voted best Asian Resturant in UAE 2024 and they definitely deserve their title!

Our amazing waiter Munashe from Zimbabwe ( ex SA and having worked at Delaire Graaf until our gov decided to revoke his visa is certainly our loss and their gain!!)

Sushi for starters followed by Dim sum trio of Gyoza duck, shrimp, and truffle chicken ( to die for!!!!)
Mains:
Peking duck
And
Sweet and sour chicken with fried rice

A visit to the fish market to get some fish for dinner. I wish SA had anything near as good! Fresh fresh fish reasonably priced even converting to zar.. ( and maybe less than half the price of a certain shop in jhb north ) and better quality!

Dinner tonight:
Starters: octopus, tuna and prawn ceviche in clementine and lime cure
Mains: sea bream, sea bass, prawns and tuna grillled and served with dill| parseley| butter| oil infusion
Manufique! We really need better fish in jhb..

I have always been a huge fan of the late chef Anthony Bordain and his recommendations are always on point. Al Gatto Nero in Burrano Venice was always his point of reference for great risotto. So a few years back while in Italy in Milan we took a day pillgramage to Venice to taste this risotto. 6 HOURS later.. a train.. a ferry.. a few missed alley ways LOTS of rain we arrived very wet to our nearly missed reservation and OMG it was ALL worth it! Best risotto EVER! It’s always a hit every time I make this dish so it made the trip SO worth while! Some cooking tips:
I add some carrots and celery to mine but the most important thing is you need make a proper fish stock else this dish will fail epically..
