Nestled between the green lawns and vast old shaded trees, stands the old white, Dutch-Colonial House, with all her classic beauty and charm. Zandvliet Estate is one of the less known hidden treasures in the Goldfields region, 14 km outside the City of Welkom in the North West Free State. The Estate holds beautiful green gardens for any functions or events, like birthday parties, kitchen tea`s, we

ddings, baby-showers, christenings, conferences, team building, exhibitions, photo shoots, picnics and festival events. The estate strives to keep a personal, yet non-commercial atmosphere with prearranged bookings for above mentioned functions or events. We have an intimate Lapa/Restaurant (seated 8 to 40 guests) and for larger functions you can come and enjoy the peace and tranquillity in the quiet gardens (seated 8 - 200 guests) otherwise we have a white Marquees tent (seating 60 to 150 guests) surrounded by the beautiful estate gardens. Every customer has the opportunity of choosing one`s own exclusive menu, prepared by the kitchen staff for each function or event. Also proud to say that we have a highly qualified chef on-board to give some advice and guidance to the customer should there be any need. We also cater for vegetarians and a lot of our foods are organic and free range. Zandvliet Estate Venue is fully licensed and has a legal certificate / permit to sell alcohol. We have a cash bar available for functions or events, otherwise drinks can be ordered from the kitchen. We serve a large selection of cool-drinks, ciders, beers, wine and spirits. The venue is in accordance with the law and no alcohol will be served to persons under 18`s

Our Staff is also known for creative decor ideas and planning and we can assist you with the latest ideas and trends for table decor as we work together with each client to suit their individual tastes and needs. Accommodation - we have two private and tastefully furnished double bedrooms inside the Dutch-Colonial house where guests to come and enjoy country life at is best.
