Enjoying native jams by an amazing musician Joseph Mugande, also known as J Tonga, is a talented and versatile Afro pop singer from Binga, Resident of Hwange,Zimbabwe. Born into a musical family, J Tonga has been performing since he was a child, and his talent has only continued to grow. In 2016, he made his official debut with the single "Jaga Jaga", produced by the talented EagleManTing. This was followed by the single "Ndiwe", a collaboration with fellow artist Rickie, and engineered by Willie Gates Africa. With a distinctive voice and a unique sound.
J Tonga has quickly become one of the most sought-after artists in the Afro pop scene. His music is inspired by his culture and heritage, and his lyrics often focus on love, loss, and everyday life. In addition to his music career, J Tonga is also an advocate for the Binga and Hwange community, using his platform to raise awareness about important issues such as education, poverty, and environmental conservation. He is truly a rising star, and one to watch in the years to come.
J Tonga is currently working on his highly-anticipated EP, "Feelings", which is set to be released in the first quarter of the year. The EP will feature seven tracks that showcase his unique sound and style, and are sure to resonate with his fans. The EP will explore a range of emotions, from love and joy to heartbreak and longing, and will take listeners on a journey of feelings and self- reflection.
He aslo featured on the "Endless possibilities"Riddim with his jingle/anthem "Pe pe pe".The song talks of the unending love one has on his partner despite any difficulties that might arise in life.This Unique song seeks to connect with all ages groups, encourage them and keep them focused in the quest for True love . The Rumba maestro Isaac Moral is set to launch his 3rd album "Kuwa kulabukwa" meaning when you fall down you will rise up again. Twasumpuka FM has warmly embraced the album to launched this Thursday on live broadcast yet the live band launch will be on Friday 12 April 2024 at BaTonga Museum Arena, in Binga Local Board Town.
