1. Be born of the Spirit (Baptism)
2. Engage and participate in the Sacramental life of the Church. (Be a communicant, be Confirmed, go to confession, etc) Be timely at each Sacramental celebrations.
3. Know and live by the Word of God (Know Your Bible)
4. Read about the Church ( Go beyond the little Catechism you learnt at young age, update your Knowledge of the Church by reading Pope's letters, encyclicals of Your Bishops, buy the Catechism of the Catholic Church and read, Code of Canon Law and other relevant books. Note that this books are not specifically reserved for the Clerics)
5. Attend Seminars, meetings, pious meetings. Belong to one or two groups in the Church and be active. Do not try to join all and be passive. Be timely at each meetings. It shows your commitment.
6. Be prayerful. YES, CATHOLICS pray!!!
7. Be Charitable, be loving and lovable towards others. Live the life of Beatitudes
8. Ask questions about your faith to learn from the relevant authorities like Priests and elders in the Church.
9. Do not gossip about your Church activities, Leaders and Pastors instead Pray for everyone and everything.
10. Keep Catholic friends. You'll make friends with people of other denominations but try to have Catholic friends. It helps you to stay intune, intouch and informed.
