NO HOLIDAY WITHOUT THIS SALAD! We ALL like it!!!

Ingredients:

200 g cheese
400 g tomatoes (about 4 medium tomatoes)
5 medium eggs
450 g smoked chicken or ham
1 garlic clove
6 slices of bread
Salt and pepper, to taste
1-2 tbsp. poppy seeds
Mayonnaise (amount as needed for dressing)
Instructions:

Prepare Ingredients:
Dice the cheese and tomatoes into small cubes.
Boil the eggs until hard-boiled, approximately 8-10 minutes, then cool, peel, and chop.
Cut the smoked chicken or ham into bite-sized pieces.
Crush the garlic clove.
Make Croutons:
Cube the bread slices.
In a pan, toast the bread cubes with a little oil until golden and crisp. Optionally, add the crushed garlic to the pan for flavored croutons.
Assemble the Salad:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced cheese, tomatoes, chopped eggs, and smoked chicken/ham.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Gently mix in mayonnaise to coat the salad ingredients evenly.
Garnish and Serve:
Transfer the salad to a serving dish.
Sprinkle the toasted bread croutons and poppy seeds over the top just before serving to maintain their crunch.
Enjoy this delightful salad as a festive side dish or a main course!
