It's that time of the year again!
It's my busy season in the dance studio. 😬 I need my husband to help with the yard work and keep on top of things while I'm working extremely long hours.
But he's too busy making more Christmas Lights. 🤦♀️
But who am I to complain, it brings him joy! 😍
He loves being creative and we all love listening to the excitment from you all out the front while enjoying our lights display.
So I guess the chores can wait and the Christmas excitement can begin. 🎄

We now turn our focus onto fundraising for Heartfelt in memory of Maya. 🦋 and of course enjoying the magic of Christmas. ❄️☃️🎅
With two little ones aged 6 & 1, we don't make it out the front every night and if we do, it's normally not very late. If you do see us out the front, stop in and say hello. 👋 We'll be collecting gold coin donations for Heartfelt.
Also, on christmas eve, we'll be handing out candy canes and of course collecting donations from anyone who is interested.

Our Christmas Light journey started 5 years ago.
Each year Steven makes sure the display is bigger and better than the year before with new lights, re-located props and an updated play list.
Every spare second my husband has, he is building new lights or coding more on the program. He spends months in advance preparing for the display to be perfect in December.
I am thankful for our Christmas Lights, for showing me the soft side of my husband. The vulnerable side where he just wants to spread joy and Christmas spirit to all in the community and a Dad who just adores his kids and wants them to see the magic in Christmas. 🎄⛄🎉🎄⛄🎉
We currently have 24636 lights on display, with 2920 of them being new for 2022.
Again this Christmas Eve we will be fundraising for a wonderful organisation called Heartfelt, in loving memory of our beauitiful neice, Baby Maya. Last year we raised $310 on Christmas Eve from gold coin donations. We hope to see you on Christmas Eve 2022 to support us in smashing our fundraising goal.

We've been asked alot about if we get paid to display our lights? The answer is NO!
My husband puts together this wonderful lights display out of his own pocket. We do not get paid to put on the display and we do not charge people to look at our lights. It's free to watch the display! ❤️
We also get asked alot about where we purchase our lights from.
Some items are purchased from a Christmas Light website with many items being customised in our shed to fit our display. Alot of our lights are also hand made using materials from our local Treendale Bunnings Store.
Steven than spends months coding, programing and wiring all of our display together.
This year's new attraction is our LARGE screen. Taller than our 6 year old, Rylee. The screen is as big as our car port roller door, needing an electric gate opener to move the screen out of the way when moving the car.
We hope our lights can bring you some joy this festive season.
