NEW EVENT - MUMS ONLY 2 NIGHT WELLNESS RETREAT
Two amazing nights sleep in a bed all to yourself, no kids kicking you in the face or waking you up in the middle of the night. An incredible workshop focusing on self care and body love. Plenty of free time to yourself to do whatever YOU like or join in on all the activities on offer including, but not limited to, kayaking, yoga, relaxing and sleep-ins. This is a retreat for YOU and you can spend it however you like.
We, as mothers, know your time is not usually your own and when you do get alone time you want to make it count. We have created this retreat to help mums to have some much needed YOU time and to relax and recharge.
About the retreat
Unwind and discover the natural beauty, peace and calm of Obi Obi Homestead in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Set on 350 acres, bordering Obi Obi Creek and natural forest. We have created this retreat with you in mind. We, as mums, know our time is not our own and when you have time to yourself you want to make it worthwhile. Enjoy a fully catered retreat while taking in the spectacular views and appreciate not having to lift a finger.
On Saturday morning, experience a three hour workshop that focuses on self care and body love to guide you to reconnect to yourself. Learn some helpful tools of self care and heal your relationship with yourself. This workshop will be mixed with yoga and meditation and will leave you feeling more confident and empowered.
The remainder of the retreat has no set activities and is to be enjoyed however you like. Use everything you learnt from Saturday morning’s workshop by recharging in the plunge pool, on outdoor decks, sitting by the wood fireplace or lazing by the freshwater creek. You could soak up a sunset, stargaze, catch up with fellow mums around the fire pit, play lawn games, bushwalk, birdwatch, swim or kayak. You might even choose to have some animal therapy by observing fish, turtles and may even spot a platypus down by the creek. Obi Obi Homestead also has farm animals so you might like to spend some time with the chickens, goats and cows.
This is your time to recharge, relax and enjoy yourself. Do as much as you like or relax and do nothing at all. The choice is yours.

The Accommodation -
Located just 15 minutes from Coolum Beach and 25 minutes from Noosa, you will find this stunning eco accommodation in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. After frolicking in the pool or surf, relax and soak up its peaceful surroundings with splendid bush views across the valley - enjoy sunset with a wine while the kids are at home with a loved one. You might even see a kangaroo or two in the garden.
The Room Types -
Double Rooms - Your own room that offers a double or queen sized bed, air-conditioning and views of the hinterland. Your room includes linen and bath towels. There are shared bathroom facilities.
Twin Rooms - This room is for you to share with a friend and offers two single beds, air-conditioning and views of the hinterland. There are shared bathroom facilities.
The workshop, yoga and meditation -
This workshop will be a three hour experience focused on self care and body love to guide you to reconnect to yourself, learn some helpful tools of self care and heal your relationship with yourself. It will leave you feeling more confident and empowered.
Self-care:
A mini-workshop on how to develop nourishing, personalised but realistic self-care that actually leaves you feeling energised and fulfilled so that you can show up in your life more fully, rather than just surviving. Specifically designed by Sam, the guest mental health and body positivity guide, from her lived experience with mental health challenges, burn out and from her clinical practice working with a range of people. We look at how to have REAL self-care (not just the surface level term that gets thrown around), for REAL people living in this busy modern world, and overcoming any beliefs that may be getting in the way of upgrading your self-care practices.
Meditation:
A short and relatable meditation guided by the guest yoga teacher, Chelsea, to help you reconnect to yourself from a place of self love and acceptance.
Body love:
Healing the relationship you have with your body; a segment from the 6-week course: 'Unf**king My Mindset'. Sam shares the insights she gained from her own experience with poor body image and an unhealthy relationship with food and exercise, and from coaching other women to overcome these same difficulties. We will be looking at the intentional, deliberate, and practical steps you can start to take to reprogram your mindset in the context of your body, to love (at the very least accept) your body.
Yoga:
A gentle yoga practice to help you incorporate some of your learnings from the workshop. Focussing on honouring your body, moving from a place of love and strengthening your relationship with yourself, to leave you feeling connected and appreciative of who you are in your body.
This is a safe space to share and connect. Come with an open heart, an open mind and a willingness to explore letting go of what is not serving you. Please bring along a note book and pen, yoga mats will be provided.
