Happy New Year everyone, from the Maldives! 🥳

There have been many ‘pinch me’ moments for me in 2023, from looking around the office at the insanely amazing team our Company gets to work with every day, to watching all our new performance innovations come together and launch, to performing with the most talented and gorgeous bunch of musos, to securing international bookings and presenting the largest booking our Company has ever made, to meeting and connecting so well with incredible new clients. But I have to say that performing on the Maldives for New Year’s Eve was the biggest ‘pinch me’ of them all. Personally, professionally as a singer, and professionally as the Director of Redtie Entertainment who looked after all the music at Amilla between 23rd December to 3rd January, this has been THE milestone. Allllll the hard work in all the realms is coming together and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you, Universe. ❤️

Ok! This post is not so much related to my goings on as a Celebrant but it’s a proud moment so I thought I’d share. Alongside Celebrant-ing, I direct 5 businesses which are all in the entertainment industry. We operate out of our office and studio in Upper Coomera which is where all businesses have been based for a little over a year. They’re the reason I have not been posting as much as I should to this page!! Between them all, I work approx. 84hrs per day. But I LOVEEEE it all. And I give 100% to every single client - whether it be my beautiful couples or my corporate clients. 🤩

My company won this award on Wednesday, for Hospitality, Tourism and Events and we are so humbled and grateful! Thank you thank you !

We really are constantly working to bring new, innovative ideas to our clients and industry, and advocate for the best conditions for all our talent, and so to be recognised as doing a good job makes us all very happy. I adore bring a Celebrant! And I aim well above the bar when it comes to creating an incredible experience for my treasured couples. So you can imagine how disheartening it was today to receive this 2 star bad review from someone I have never met, talked to on the phone, had email contact with or officiated the marriage of. As someone who pours my heart and soul into every experience for my clients, from the first meeting to ceremony and beyond, to have this bogus review makes me so sad. I’ve reported it to google but apparently it doesn’t violate any policies so they will not take this down. Even alongside every other review I have (all of which are 5 star), and even with the review not making any sense, they will not remove it.

So what am I to do? And what are all business owners to do when apparently anyone can leave any sort of review they like? One of the first things we do, as consumers, when contemplating booking a service, is read the reviews. And how would a prospective client identify this review as being bogus? Now my reputation is tarnished and there’s nothing I can do about it.

I just don’t understand! What does this person want? 🥺

You know, it’s always such a lovely treat to work with my hubby, Leo, on a Wedding and this one was absolutely gorgeous! ❤️

We had the pleasure and honour of providing our services as Celebrant, MC and Photo Booth for Kelsey & Josh on 21st April, and it was simply a fabulous day and night. What a couple these two are - as beautiful inside as out - and BOY did their guests know how to have a good time! Many laughs were had, MANY photos were taken and alll the memories were made. We couldn’t be happier for Kelsey & Josh and feel so privileged to have been a part of their super fun Wedding! ❤️☀️

Bianca & Ibran 12.5.23. ❤️

These two lovebirds met in Bosnia in 2017 where they relied on the wonders of modern tech - Google Translate - to get to know each other. Officially married in 2020, they finally got to have their beautiful Ceremony yesterday, amidst the love of their adoring family & best friends. There were not many dry eyes during the Ceremony and the spirit of everyone lifting Bianca & Ibran up was palpable. Such a lovely couple who will have an exciting, long life together.

Lisa & Geoff’s Celebrant, Music & Photo Booth team from yesterday - myself, Dave & Leo. It was a gorgeously bright Festival Wedding for Lisa & Geoff out at the idyllic with 150 of their fam & friends. WHAT A DAY!! 🥳

Nice easy Celebrant, Live Music to DJ & Photo Booth package booked through me.

We started with some chilled instrumental welcome guitar as guests arrived, and moved to vocal/guitar for all the special Ceremony moments performed live. Such a fun Ceremony that reflected the two adventurous love-birds - plenty of laughs….and a few happy tears in there, too. All under the shade of a big beautiful tree.

Moving to Canapés & Cocktails up on the terrace, we continued with live vocal/guitar music before switching to DJ later in the night. The photo booth opened at 6pm with Lisa & Geoff’s wedding arbour used as the backdrop….and guests couldn’t get enough of posing up a storm whilst making some amazing memories together! Everyone left with their keepsake photo strips + digital copies of their pics & GIFS emailed to them on the spot, and our couple will receive a full digital gallery of all the booth pics to add to their wedding album. 🤩

From Dave, Leo and I, thank you for having us, Lisa & Geoff! We were so honoured to be a part of your big day and wish you both the most happiness, laugher & adventure for your lives together. 🥰

Why it’s the gorgeous Wedding of Carolyn & Jamie with one of my fave peeps, April from ! Seconds after this photo was taken the weather turned and rain started pelting down but all was well because the whole Wedding team swung into action to move everything underneath in time for guest arrival. Gooooo team! We went on to have a beautiful Ceremony (& I was also honoured to sing post-Ceremony through to dancing!). What a night! 🤩❤️

There are all sorts of moments that can happen during a Ceremony. Sometimes there are emotional ones such as this one with the beautiful Tanya & Hernan on the 6th September. Due to health reasons, myself & the team at Palazzo Versace organised an intimate Ceremony for these incredibly strong souls within 2 weeks and I’m so happy that it turned out to be everything they’d dreamed of. There were plenty of smiles, a lot of heart & unwavering love amongst everyone there and during the moment pictured here, Tanya was thanking me for my support during their urgent Ceremony planning. It’s actually me who should be thanking Tanya & Hernan - to have journeyed with them during such a difficult but also joyful time will stay with me forever. They really are amazingly strong and the love they have for one another is beyond touching. I just know it will transcend any challenges they might face in the coming weeks and months. I am so so blessed to have been their Celebrant.

Honestly, these girls were the absolute picture of beauty as their happiness shone through from the second I saw them on their special day. I had the pleasure of spending more time with them as I MC’d their Reception and what a lovely bunch of friends & fam these two have. The heart-felt speeches got me (🥹), there was so much warmth in the room & then they danced the night away with everyone. Super awesome times! 🤩☀️

The warmth and genuine natures of these two were such a pleasure to be around and their Big Day at a private residence in the GC Hinterland just couldn’t have been more perfect. Throwback to a couple of weeks ago when the totally handsome ‘Cooper’ was getting ready for his super important (and extremely cute) job as ring bearer. For Emily and Jake, having their fur baby be a part of their big day made it so much more special.

Cooper was looked after by the amazing before, during and after the Ceremony, who made sure he was well watered, playing with his favourite tennis ball prior to keep him comfy, and then took him to his home for the night afterwards. What an incredible service! ❤️

If you’re thinking of having your pup as ring bearer, I say go for it! The memories you’ll have of it will definitely become some of your most treasured. 🐶
