We were so happy to help Don and Kristina with their catering and wedding decorations at Deepwater. They gave us the colour scheme of rust and then really let us run with it. We had full creative license and when we arrived they had no idea what they were getting and we had no idea how they'd react! As always it was amazing and they were thrilled with the result. Honestly, I was impressed as well particularly with the arbor flowers that we made in store ( ). The black accents really make the rust appear moodier than it would otherwise.

The Elegant Events office is closed for the school holidays while we enjoy time with family. Our workload is covered by our fantastic staff! 💙Loving Linens - Edit 1💙
Table Linens are the cheapest and easiest way to completely alter a tablescape. We're pretty confident in claiming that we have the MOST EXTENSIVE range of hire options when it comes to tablecloths. Including but not limited to NAVY cloths in round or rectangle for your convenience. The photo on the left is from 2018 so we've had them at least that long. As you can see Navy is one of those universal colours that just doesn't date. Use with Gold, Dust Pink, Burgandy... the options are endless, and we CAN help!

So glad someone took photos!!! Thanks team Riverside Retreat!!! What a gig. If only there was footage of the MEGA buffet and dessert HUSTLE as we battled the pouring rain. I may have been drenched all night but at least it wasn’t cold rain! Those umbrellas saved all of the food on the way to the buffet! My shoes are still drying out!

It was a fantastic day on Saturday for Lester & Lyndall's wedding! Although not our usual spot at Schuhkraft Park, this location had special meaning to the couple and had some great shade. I've got to tell you, I much prefer the earlier 9am setup than the usual lunch time set up in the heat of the day!

And we're off to this amazing facility on Curtis Island to cater for the ConocoPhillips 1000th Cargo Celebration!!! Just an intimate one for 250 people! We travel to Gladstone tonight, put the cars and trailers on the barge tomorrow to head over and set up, cater for a ROAST BUFFET LUNCH on Tuesday, pack up and barge home on Wednesday! It's definitely a mission but one that we look forward to every time the opportunity arises!

It was an absolute pleasure to style for Rhys and Jess on Saturday at the club! As always here are some terrible iPhone images! It's always a risk when the couple trust us to run with it without seeing it in person ahead of time but they're also the most fun ones, getting the creative juices flowing. We're in love with our new tube vases (not just for rectangle tables😉) and narrow pillar candles! How good does the latte and gold look in this room!?

It’s been years since we catered an event in Eidsvold so when the opportunity arose we organised a road trip! It was a pleasure to cater for the Eidsvold Cattle Drive Inc over the weekend! Nibbles, Main and Dessert all dropped to the tables for guests to enjoy. What a fantastic location with more facilities than we were expecting to have! Thanks for having us Bec and team!

We're very proud of our family owned and operated business! Here you see Savannah, 3rd generation caterer, serving hot nibbles to some event guests last Saturday Night at Kalki Moon Distilling Company! This event was for her best friends dad who had a special '0' birthday! Just beginning her work life with only one other function under her belt, the entire goal really is to not drop anything! She did a fantastic job and all food was happily safe from the floor!

On Sunday we attended the Bundaberg Wedding Expo! Those that know us, know that these are kind of our jam. Although our original idea for site decor didn't pan out, we're very proud of what we were able to put together in an hour and a half on the day. Straight backdrops, pressed linens, polished glassware and clean 'LOVE' letters, all completely worth the effort looking at the end result!
We asked guests to vote for their favourite table and for those who are interested in the result, Table 3 (the blue) won by a hair. Literally 1 vote! I had ordered 2 x shades of blue napkins to match this table but am not disappointed that they didn't turn up because the latte napkins looks awesome! Feel free to continue on the debate in the comments below! Table 1 (pink), Table 2 (white/silver) or Table 3 (blue)!

Throwback Thursday!
Before Christmas we were stoked to help our friends at Hitz939 Bundaberg with some decorating at Kalki Moon Distilling Company. On some occasions less is more and people choose a venue for a reason so why hide it. We were happy to provide minimalist Christmas decor that blended famously with the venue and it's vibe but didn't obnoxiously scream "IT'S CHRISTMAS"!
We're stoked to be back at Kalki Moon this weekend for a friends special "0" birthday in both a catering and decorating capacity!

If your arsenal doesn't have a massive selection of tealight holders are you even a decorator?😆 These have to be our most utilised weapon. Tealights are a popular choice for accent lighting due to their affordability. As a low level light you can use multiple tealights for effect. We order "real" tealights literally by the thousands however we also have a massive stash of "real wax" faux tealights which are fantastic for those instances where real tealights aren't possible. They also don't run out and illuminate all night long! Certain venues don't allow real tealights for safety, the weather also affects their usefulness and directly under the aircon vent can be problematic as well. In these cases the faux candles come in super handy!

At this time of year we're always looking back on photos as we show upcoming couples past works and today I stumbled on these throwbacks! These giant "LOVE" letters are 1.8m tall, solid as a rock and a very affordable way of adding "wow" factor to any Wedding. Made by actual tradies and styled with safety in mind, we'll never ask you to back away from the expensive letters, in fact, we encourage you to get amongst it and make lasting memories with your favourite people!

Our first Wedding back last weekend was for Sophie & Reece! We were happy to start the year off with a casual cocktail setting at Riverside Retreat! Despite the incredible heat, the hill slope and the sporadic rain we were able to achieve this incredible look to start the year off!
