Focus β¨
. is my word for 2024.
A belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you π
I have done a lot of thinking and I have made a decision. I won't run this as a business for the time being, maybe in the future, maybe not and maybe never again. Only time will tell.
My aim is to attend our local Made n' Grown - 3 Rivers Region market every month.
Flower availability will vary, but I will be sure to let you know here if there is a chance to grab some fresh blooms β¨
I want my focus to be on my family and my job at TAFE NSW. I'm very passionate about teaching floristry and I feel deep that it is the right path for me.
However I'll never stop learning and explore. I dream of attending workshops, do a bit of freelance work and educate myself further within floristry. I want to play with new (and old) techniques, explore different materials, dig even more into sustainable practices within floristry and I would love to share with you the designs I create, if you stick around on this page.
When I come up with a name for this page that feels right, then I will rename it.
Sometimes this page will be quiet, sometimes I'll have lots to share. It all depends on how busy life is.
When the time, energy and material to share is there, I will share. When not, know you are not forgotten, but my focus is elsewhere.
A couple of days ago I got reminded that it is the little things that really are the big things in life. I don't want to be so busy that I don't pay attention to the little things and let them slip away.
Thank you for your understanding and I truly hope you want to stick around and follow the next chapter of my floral journey β¨
