⭐️SAVE THE DATE FOR HERVEY BAY RSL RIVERFEST⭐️
The River Heads community will be celebrated this SATURDAY, September 9 with the annual Hervey Bay RSL Riverfest. 🐋🏖⛱
The family-friendly festival is hosted by the River Heads Progress Association and will feature stalls from local community groups, food, clothing, arts & crafts, jewellery and plants.🤩👜🪴
The event will kick off at noon with the markets from 12pm to 7pm, the bistro 🥗🥘opens at River Heads Hall from 6pm to 8pm and live music in the hall from 6pm to 9pm.👩‍🎤
The Hervey Bay RSL is proud to have supported this awesome festival 🤩🥳with a Community Grant to help cover running costs for a number of years now.

Hi Guys. We haven't forgotten about you all. I've been in contact with all of our trivia and karaoke venues. They are up to date with all of the covid safe regulations. There are still limits for venues and when those limits lift we'll be back in full swing. Please be patient and we'll let you know when it's happening again.

Remember that our awesome karaoke starts at 9pm tonight and goes through until 1am Saturday morning. Ours is the only karaoke show in Maryborough that goes over a two day period 😄😄😄😄😄. You could win a randomly drawn $50 venue voucher. All you need to do is sing us at least one song and be there when we draw the winner at 1am when we finish.

Please share this to help us spread the word on our exciting new trivia venue. The first one will have a donation of $5 per player with all proceeds going to Rally For a Cause Dunga Derby. This charity organisation helps needy local families so it's a cause where your donations will stay local. For all of you trivia buffs, this now means that we now have trivia three nights a week here on the Fraser Coast. Mondays @ The Old Sydney Hotel Maryborough, Tuesdays @ Kondari Hotel Hervey Bay and now Wednesdays @ The Carriers Arms Hotel Maryborough. All shows start at 6.30pm sharp. Our first Carriers Arms trivia night will be on the 8th May starting at 6.30 sharp. It will be run in exactly the same format as both of our established trivia nights at Kondari and the Old Sydney Hotels. The first night will be a charity fundraiser for Dunga Derby and have a $5 per head donation. Please come along and help support Dunga Derby and our new trivia venue.

I would like to thank all of you who have made our trivia shows and karaoke such a huge success. We broke an attendance record at the Old Sydney trivia a couple of weeks ago with 79 people in 11 teams. Tonight at Kondari trivia we cracked the 100 mark with 104 people in 16 teams. With our Old Sydney karaoke, we have reached our song list limit with over an hour to go until close. Again, Tanya and I from TUN A FUN ENTERPRISES thank you all for your part in building these nights.

Hi all. As most of you know, Tanya and I are always lending stuff out to help people. Somewhere over the last few months we have lent a blue 3m x 3m fold out marquee to someone and I can't remember for the life of me who it was. I have rung several people who I thought may have it with no success. Don't get me wrong. I'm not blaming someone for purposely not bringing it back as I fully realise that there are some who have a lousy memory such as myself. I mean if my memory was any good I'd know who borrowed it lol. If you have it can you please give me a call so we can arrange to get it back to me? Thanks guys.

My good friends Jeffrey Dover and Amie Dover from the duo Just Us are also donating their time singing for your enjoyment. Jeff and Amie will have the traditional open guitar case for donations that they will then present to the shave.
