One of the original directors and creators of the Richard Morris Memorial Showcase is coming back to Horsham to bless us with his talent.
Sean Hallam along with Kristy Ward came up with the idea of a concert and a scholarship to honour the wonderful man we suddenly lost in 2004.
Sean will entertain us tonight with an amazing piano piece on Horsham Town Hall’s grand piano.

Once again this fabulous human being is sharing their gift with the audiences of the Wimmera.
Liam Robertson has been involved in many HAC, school, RM Concerts and School of Music showcases that we all knew he would end up living his dream in Melbourne at Patrick School of the Arts.
Liam is the recipient of two RM Scholarships and an Alex Rathgeber Scholarship.
We can’t wait to see Liam light up the stage once more for the RM Showcase this Saturday night at 7.30pm at the Horsham Town Hall.

Liberty Hobbs just happens to be our most recent recipient of the Richard Morris Memorial Scholarship in 2021.
Liberty shows her talents in many ways including singing, playing piano and writing her own pieces of music.
We can’t wait to hear what Liberty will bring to the stage on Saturday night at the Richard Morris Memorial Showcase.
7.30pm start with some supper provided in the Town Hall foyer following the conclusion of the show.

The Horsham Arts Council has been a major player in the Wimmera region for performing arts for over 50 years.
This year is no different, with two amazing shows having been performed in May and October, Seussical the Musical and American Idiot.
Both shows have just been nominated and commended for their efforts by the Music Theatre Guild of Victoria with 9 nominations and 11 commendations.
Both shows will perform numbers this Saturday night at the Richard Morris Memorial Showcase. So now is your chance to see them if you missed out!

These two lit up the stage in the Horsham College’s production of Cinderella earlier this year.
Harriet Overman and Sienna Walsgott played the Fairy Godmother and Cinderella respectively and their voices were something to behold.
Come and watch them recreate their wonderful duet this Saturday night, the 18th of November at 7.30pm at the Richard Morris Memorial Concert.

Introducing Joel Kimberley as one of our wonderful performers for the Richard Morris Memorial Showcase.
Joel has been involved in many HAC productions including RENT and The Wedding Singer. For the past 4 years they have been training with Patrick Studios in Melbourne.
We can’t wait to see them in action!

Applications now open for the 2022 Richard Morris Memorial Concert, Better late then never!

Unfortunately we were unable to deliver our annual RM Showcase for 2022.

However the committee is committed to encouraging our young performers and have decided to open applications for the 2022 Richard Morris Memorial Scholarship, better late then never!

Applications are now open.

The scholarship amount is $3,000 and applications are open to all performers from all areas of performing arts.

Applications close Friday 31 March 2023 at 5.00pm.

The Scholarship winner will be officially announced at the RM Showcase on 18 November 2023.

Congratulations to our Richard Morris Memorial Scholarship winner, Liberty Hobbs.

Liberty has a passion for songwriting and singing. Liberty taught herself to play piano and recently performed her own song for the Wimmera Music Eisteddfod.

We hope that the scholarship helps you achieve your dreams.

Also Congratulations to Eliza Creek, Penny Lopez and Ebony Hart on receiving an encouragement award last night.
