We are seeking an Events & Bistro Supervisor to join our team.

About the role:
• Deliver and execute our events from start to finish.
• Supervise bistro downstairs.
• Ability to work in a busy and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to think quick and troubleshoot any issues.
• Liaise with all key people and suppliers during events.
• Manage the team, allocate sections, draw up briefing boards, manage breaks and staff wages.
• Manage stock ordering and rotation.
• Work closely with the Sales Team and Events Coordinator with managing the day-to-day running of the Events Department.
• Work closely with the Kitchen team prior and be able to run the pass on the night.
• Flexibility around working weekends and public holidays.
• Conduct room resets after each event and ensure the venue is always kept immaculate.
• Complete detailed nightly reports after each event.

About you:
• Excellent customer service and time management skills.
• Well presented with a professional and friendly personality.
• Current NSW RSA competency card.
• Have at least one to two years’ experience working in Weddings and Events.
• Have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to lead by example and create a great team environment.
• Must have a passion for the hospitality industry and all things weddings and events.
• Sound bar knowledge (including wines) with the right skills to make cocktails and coffee.
