Cambinata yabbies is a working farm, which has converted our shearing shed into a function centre wi We are a working farm 3 1/2 hours South-East of Perth.

We have converted our shearing shed into a function centre. It has the features of a traditional shearing shed such as floorboards and memorabilia however it also has a commercial kitchen, must see toilets (tourists are always amazed at how fancy our toilets are) and grand piano. We have newly built accommodation cottages or camping facilities in our paddock - right next to the shearing shed. It i

s a family owned and operated business. Why not come for a drive and have a look for yourself? Come overnight and stay in Mary's farm cottages and enjoy the beautiful country air. Have a tour of our Yabby farm and even have a feed of yabbies while you are here. We can cater for all sorts of functions. Engagements, weddings, birthdays and Christmas parties.

Last Friday we celebrated the year 6 graduation of our local primary school. A fun night with great food, loud music, dancing and celebrating. Congratulations to all year 6’s and we wish you all the best with the rest of your schooling.

Farmers work long hours at this time of year to get the crops in the ground to maximise growth and yield. . we have planted wheat, barley, lupins, vetch, field peas, oats and will finish the planting tomorrow with cereal rye. When you stay you will see the crops at various stages of growth until harvest time in November and December and learn about the reasons for growing the various crops. .

Dinner group organised by a local lady. Delicious lemon myrtle dukkah crusted fish or honey mustard chicken Maryland using our honey and dukkah. Home made pavlovas and strawberry coulis. Sticky date pudding. All made on the premises in our commercial kitchen. Was well enjoyed by all.
