Mackay Muso's Charity Swap Meets Jam Sessions

Starting out in 2014 as a local muso jam session held by local Mackay musician, Pup, who wanted to raise money for the only partially government funded RACQ CQ Rescue helicopter after it was needed to transport him to hospital following a motorcycle crash in March of 2014, potentially saving his life. r. Not only is the 2015 Jam session on a bigger stage, out doors with stage lighting and a professional sound system. This year will see a muso buy, swap and sell, various market stalls and a unique collection of fine and rare musical instruments, some of which have never been seen by the public, in a first of it's kind display. Being held at the Mackay Aero Club on Casey Avenue, which offers a large grassed area for stall holders, a licensed bar, catering service, an indoor stage for smaller acts to perform while the main stage is changed between bands and a kids play area. It's the perfect setting for a musically enhanced family fun day to be enjoyed by the whole family. 11hrs of live music and everything else mentioned for a gold coin donation.
