Big day weeding today and adding compost to the soil. It’s been tough on the garden with this hot weather in Melbs. Don’t know about you but I’m ready for Autumn and cools nights that follow. The sun this year has burnt trees that used to be never burn in the sun’s heat. The climate is definitely changing. We can do our bit and support local flower growers. So many good growers here in Victoria. Check out Bec Noble’s she showcases them all 💕

Home to this darling, bigger than our head! One of mum’s favourites so that’s exactly who she’s going to. I’m loving Gladys. Mum used to plant hundreds and I’d peel them open when they were in bud to see what colour they would be.

Anyone else loving the smell of beautiful, summer gardenias? I always think of my mum who had them in her wedding bouquet. This one is a monster plant - she came with the house and I love her dearly.
