BRIDESMAID AND CELEBRANT 🫶

I was lucky enough to have been able to marry one of my beautiful besties Tayla, to her bestie and loved Nick…. as well as be one of her bridesmaids!

To say I felt nervous, honoured and bloody emotional would be the understatement of the year.

Although their big day wasn’t exactly how they originally envisioned or planned, thanks to covid forcing them to postpone their original plans in 2021 - but chuck in a venue change in a different state, and a complete different mix of vendors (except for moi) and a baby in Tay’s tummy - it 👋 was 👋 perfect.

Perfect in every way, it was a bloody pearla of a day, and they were wed in front of all of the nearest and dearest, exactly how they wanted ✨

When these two looked at each other, you knew nothing else in the world mattered to them. They are just so completely in sync with each other, so very complementary of one another and honestly, one of the most beautifully loved up couples I’ve ever met - and I am absolutely here for it 🫶

When I initially met Abby and Justin and they told me about their plans for this big day, I knew it was love at first sight - for me and them! They had me at make-you-own-gin-bar 🤤 oh.. and the fact that I absolutely loved them, and we got along like a house on fire!

These two celebrated with their fav people with a gorgeous ceremony at , followed by their reception at and a cheeky *STUNNING* dress change for Abby!

What an absolute honour to get to know these two, and hitch them together forever 💫

While we’re all taking a ride down the good old memory lane that you got down that aisle to marry your favourite person, take a small moment to breathe, look at one another and for that moment, pretend no one else is there.

Your ceremony will absolutely fly by and before you know it, you’re signing away, and boom! You’re married 🥳

CHRIS + MING 💫

What a gorgeous couple these two are, and what a bloody delight they were to marry 😍 Their day was EXACTLY what THEY wanted.

They had a intimate ceremony at the gorg Glasshouse Inside, some nibblies, drinks and cake, then headed to a flash restaurant and feasted on a fancy degustation with their nearest and dearest.

It was just perfect, just like them!

P.S How freaking cute is their first look? Ming found her dream dress for her big day, but thought.. a full length wedding gown is not for me, so let’s make it fun and cut it! 🙌

Getting these two wed was a breeze! Tamara and Boris were such a chilled, relaxed, and down to earth couple, who although felt nervous for the big day with all of the attention being on them - they certainly looked cool as cucumbers and they 100% owned being centre of attention and relaxed into their big moment 👊

UNDER THE NIGHT SKY 🌝

When I met Georgia and Steve for the first time, they made me feel like they were friends I had known for years. We just clicked, and I knew that they were the type of people I would love to hitch, and that we were absolutely going to hit it off!

They’re the kind of beautiful people that you just want to around and it was evident at their ceremony, just how loved they are, surrounded by the most loving and supportive friends and family.

Stunning venue and set up, incredible vendors and a pair of loved up, beautiful humans - it was a god damn perfect day!

TBT when I got to marry these two twice!

During the first lockdown, Jess and Tyler’s wedding was like many others, postponed only a few short weeks before their big day. They called me, completed devastated, calling off the wedding and had no idea when it would be able to go ahead again. Heartbroken was an absolute understatement!

A few months later, these two contacted me again and thought stuff it, we just want to be married, let’s have a small ceremony with family when restrictions let us, and then have a bigger celebration months later - and they did just that!

So here they are with their loved ones, (in between covid lockdowns mind you!) on a quaint little farm, with me locking down their love and making it all official 🤍

SHE’S BACK✨

Where has the time gone?! Our little Sully is 6 weeks old and it feels like yesterday that he entered into our world!

As I enter into this crazy busy wedding period, I’d like to be open and honest with how I choose to do business moving forward with the dreaded big ‘C’ 🦠.

To keep my new little family safe, all meetings going forward will be via zoom, all rehearsals will be via zoom, and where possible (if I can get my hands on them of course) I will do a RAT on the morning of each wedding.

For those couples who are yet to have their Notice of Intended Marriage form signed, the Attorney Generals Department has now allowed marriage celebrants to witness NOIM signings over Zoom. If this is you, I will be in contact you soon and we will catch up and get it signed together virtually.

Please work with your venues and wedding coordinator to talk about social distancing during the ceremony and how that will look for your set up, and if your ceremony and/or reception is inside, there is a requirement for masks to be worn (ceremonies inside only require guests to wear masks, wedding party and celebrant and exempt).

Additionally, if you send me an email and my reply is delayed, I see you and I will get back to you as soon as I can! Please bear with me as I navigate this busy wedding season and a newborn 🤪

I am taking a short period off to rest, await the arrival of bub and navigate new mum and newborn life!

DOGS IN WEDDINGS 🐾

TBT my own wedding, I wish we stuck to our guns and had our long boys in our ceremony. We found it all too hard to find someone to look after them during the ceremony and to take them home after.

I had also actually forgotten to get any photos with my boys whilst getting ready and had to quickly sneak a few in before we left for the alter! (Pictured)

Take my advice - have your fur babies at your wedding because you will NOT regret it!

Those perfect shots captured by your photographer and videographer because your guests threw the confetti delicately and high in the air 😍 ughhh DREAMYYYY!

You don’t want some silly clown ruining your photos right? I mean, you only get to get those shots once!

So if you are planning on having confetti during your ceremony, make sure you let your Celebrant know so they can word your guests up with a bit of confetti etiquette!
