I had a great catchup with Nadine from The Travelling Chapel recently. The business has been going for about 5 months and it looks like I finally found someone who loves a wedding more than I do! 😲 The wedding industry is a new one for Nadine but has been a welcoming and fun place so far! The chapel itself is a gorgeous invention dreamed up from a long desire to own a chapel in the country and was built in-house from scratch!💪 It’s a portable structure that you can take anywhere, seats up to 30 people and is often (flatteringly) mistaken for a permanent structure. What Nadine loves the most about it all is seeing people live out their fairytale wherever they choose to 😍 I hear that this one-of-a-kind chapel will even feature in this years Mardi Gras and Nadine was also excited to tell me of the upcoming franchise opportunities in the horizon! 🌅 If you think Nadine and the team are awesome too, then show your support by leaving them a positive comment below and sharing this post 👍

{OUR STORY} 4 Months Ago David and Nadine were discussing a way in which they could purchase a property in the Hunter Region and use the property to generate an income, the usual ideas were floated around. Their first thought was to find a property then turn it into a lovely rural retreat, then this idea developed into holding weddings on the property and creating a beautiful homestay.

David has been building sets for the events and marketing industry over the past two decades so Nadine loved the idea of David building a little white Chapel for their guests to be married in.After much discussion and realizing that it was too soon to move to the country because of family commitments, school etc they would have to wait another 5 years to begin this dream. The following morning Nadine said to David “ Im still in love with the idea of the Little White Chapel”. Of course David replied “That sounds fantastic but we agreed the timing was not quite right”. Nadine turned around and said in a very excited voice “ We can make it mobile, then we can take it anywhere”. David had built many floats for the Chinese New Year and for the Mardi Gra’s and is always up for a challenge, so building a mobile chapel was very achievable with Davids past experience.

As luck would have it, his company still had a flat bed trailer that was perfect for the job and needed a new home. THE IDEA WAS BORN!
