Well it’s been a little while now since Bodaceous doors shut.
19 years was a hell of a ride.
I miss the store. I miss the staff and I miss most of all my community of customers that kept my doors open for nearly 2 decades in beautiful Dromana.

So we (maybe more Dave) have spent the long week end reusing and up cycling around the house post Bodaceous shutdown. The huge gum that came down at ours has been cut and stacked for firewood amd chipped and returned to the garden beds. The mini orb that was on the walls of Bodaceous has been transformed into a roof to keep the wood dry. Dave says he thinks I’m a bit of a pyromaniac 😆with all my firepit action. I have done a lot of replanting of cuttings from the garden and the beds are looking succulent and lush. My kookas are keep an eye on us and love purchasing on the hills hoist for optimal view. The new shed is housing future project supplies and basically feeling completely abundant. The freshness of winter air, the greeness of the garden and the birds singing allow me to sit present with full consciousness.

For 19 years it has been my deepest honour to spend this day celebrating mother’s of all kinds. Mothers here, mothers past, mothers of fur babies, mothers to children of others, mothers of babies passed, mothers of every kind. It feels so incredibly weird to wake this morning and not be of service but to spend my very first Mother’s Day ever with my own children. I’m going to be soccer mumming today but send deepest love and gratitude to all that have allowed me to be a part of their rituals on Mother’s Day. To our dearest Bodaceous customers, With the heaviest of heart through sudden and disappointing circumstances the legacy of Bodaceous will not be continuing. This has been very unfortunate and sudden circumstances that we find ourselves in a position to say goodbye and shut our doors forever. After 19 years of service to the best customers in the world we are all super sad. I don’t have words of gratitude to express how greatful I am for the love and support that has been extended to me and Bodaceous over nearly 2 decades of my life. The Dromana community has held me in times of great despair over the years and always pulled me up and back into the fold. Not to be this time. I will be forever in debt for the love and support I have always felt.
So with less than two weeks to go and new stock still pouring in as weren’t closing but selling, please come grab a bargain and come say goodbye.
