It was November 16th 2017, the day the Australian ‘Yes’, vote to marriage equality was announced, that I decided to make a commitment to becoming a Marriage and Civil Celebrant.
I believe in equality for all and I believe in love and the celebration of every aspect of the blessing of life. So what better choice is there than to spend my days celebrating significant life events.
As a Celebrant I can officiate Weddings, Vow Renewals, Commitment Ceremonies, Funerals, Memorials, Naming Ceremonies, Graduation Ceremonies, Birthdays, Anniversaries.. even Pet weddings! Actually any reason to celebrate a milestone life event or a life well lived has now become a major motivation in my own life.
I look forward to composing and delivering ceremonies that are unique to each circumstance with the greatest respect and honour shown to individual family heritage, customs, traditions, rituals and personal family preferences.
