Today we had soooooo many amazing ideas that we had to park a few in little cloud bubbles to the right just in case. So many amazing things happening here to help children in Australia create social change and have a voice and agency in life. I love this ethos so very much especially as a mother. 💕🙌🏼

I've been on Kiva for nearly 6 years now and I must say it is the most exciting platform to keep loaning people money in developing countries for their businesses or personal needs.

If you haven't already got on to this, please check it out and help some people.

Here's a little snapshot of some of the countries we have donated to over the past six years.

We have made 20 loans in 17 countries.

Most have paid back and I don't really care if they haven't as life can be tough. I just pop a few more dollars on and help another person. It's an empowering way to help people.

A professor gave a balloon to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it and throw it in the hallway. The professor then mixed all the balloons. The students were then given 5 minutes to find their own balloon. Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon.

At that point, the professor told the students to take the first balloon that they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it. Within 5 minutes, everyone had their own balloon.

The professor said to the students: "These balloons are like happiness. We will never find it if everyone is looking for their own. But if we care about other people's happiness, we'll find ours too."

Fitting another office out at the moment. We are all still working from home in the city and country and meeting in our studios and cafes.

We will continue to do this until the whole population are allowed back to work in offices.

Kind of annoying and it’s been an expensive exercise but here we are. At least I love painting and creating spaces 🥰 always look on the bright side and all that… 😊

Started work the other week after a couple of weeks off and then got hit with covid for a few days.

Rested and back on for another first day today.

Today is not a day of celebration. Children's Ground will acknowledge a national day of celebration when it truly includes and celebrates all. When justice, dignity and human rights are afforded to all. We can not celebrate a day that marks invasion, massacres, trauma and dispossession for First Nations peoples in this country. Our Arrernte leaders call it 'arlte itterentye alhwarrpe' (thinking, sorry day).

Every year, our staff have a choice to come to work on January 26 and take the public holiday at another date in the year. Overwhelmingly, they do! Can you ask your employer to do the same? We're not waiting for governments to – we're changing it ourselves ✊🏿
