NOW THE THANK YOU'S

Without our sponsors we could not put on the Mooloolah Anzac Day Dawn Service
So a big shout out to the following organisations!

Mooloolah State School
Without the School allowing us to use the hall for Anzac Day, the event would not have happened as this is the only large enough space now to host it.

Mooloolah Lions
They were our caterers for the event. yes we pay them, but the money also then goes back into the community of Moolooah.

MVCA (Mooloolah Valley Community Association)
As Anzac Day Coordinator I report to the committee and any funding is agreed.
This year, orders of service, technical equipment items, the honour board coreflutes and the provision of tea and coffee and food.

Caloundra RSL Sub Branch
For the donation of funds to support the bacon and egg rolls

Sunshine Coast Council Commemorative Grants Programme
This year the fund was used for head set microphones, which enhanced our audio output.

Sunshine Coast University
Without the support of the UniSC we would not have the loan of the projectors to enable us to portray the service we want to show.

Finally......
Our volunteers who came together is big and small roles to host the event.

FEEDBACK!
We would love you feedback on any suggestions for next years event. Please email Jason at [email protected]

The countdown is on to paying our respects to the fallen at this year's Mooloolah Anzac Day Dawn Service.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank the team for helping me put forward this years event;

Lawrence Paulson who does all our technical challenging stuff around what you see on the projectors, which is nerve racking on the day!

Michael Berris who this year is helping me present the service.

Dave Tonissoo who is making a presentation and also on the trumpet performing the Reveille.

Andrew Berris for performing the Last Post on the cornet.

Beerwah Chirch on the Rise for their support and providing clergy cover at the service.

With grateful thanks to Roger, a School parent and PA specialist who ha helped us along the way in our new venue.

The Mooloolah State School who offered the School Hall.

Our event stewards who will be helping guide members of public on the day.

Debra Forest from MVCA for putting up with all my order of service changes and doing a great job on it!

Finally the Mooloolah Lions, who will be serving up the Gunfire Breakfast.

This event takes months of planning and we hope you are pleased with this years service.

We are extremely excited that preparations are now in the final stages to allow us to bring you a very special 2nd Mooloolah Anzac Day Dawn Service.

This year we have a piper, who will play the pipes as people arrive to the service along with the Last post being performed by bugle and the Reveille played by trumpet.

I am also delighted that Mooloolah locals poem and tribute to Anzac Day will be read out by one of the Mooloolah State School students.

No more spoilers! We hope to see you all there, from 4.45am (Doors open ASAP) and the service starts at 5.15am prompt.
