April adventures with Breakwater Agency ✨

It's been a busy month at BWA HQ, from market research and planning through to brainstorming sessions and black tie dinners. Want to see what we've been up to?

We're excited to announce that Breakwater Agency has chosen UCAN Urological Cancer Charity as our charity of the year!

Over the next 12 months we will help Gayle Stephen and her team raise 2.5 million for UCAN's new rapid diagnostic centre. We've only worked with the team for a couple of weeks but have already learned so much. Did you know that:

🔹 1 in 5 men in the North of Scotland are diagnosed with a urological cancer
🔹 1 in 3 men with prostate cancer in Scotland are diagnosed too late
🔹 1500 men and women are diagnosed with a urological cancer in the North of Scotland each year (500 of which sadly do not make it)

The team are busy planning some fundraising events that will take place across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire. If you'd like to learn more about UCAN's work and how you can help, please reach out to Gayle on [email protected]

Celebrating the North East ✨

We had a great night on Friday at The Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce Northern Star Awards, thanks to the for the invite. Our night was filled with inspiring speeches, good food and even better company!

Congratulations to all finalist and winners. Our region is filled with some incredible people, which was amplified the energy and enthusiasm in the room.

A massive well done to the Chamber team as they celebrate their 20th Northern Star!

Today is National Pet Day!❤️

A celebration to all of our side kicks, this day is all about you! To dogs, cats, rabbits, and more - this is a day to pause and give our pets a big hug and most importantly celebrate! 🙌

Our very own pawsome colleague Nala is here to give everyone a boost, with hugs (maybe a kiss, if persuaded with some treats)! But most importantly to keep everyone in the office motivated and in check! 🐶

Nala’s advice is to take your companions to the pet shop, or go for a big walk! 🚶

Where music meets mountain magic ❄️

The team worked with CNR International to bring their apres-ski-themed dinner dance to life! On the night we were joined by DJ Calvin Haggis, Alika Sax and the incredible Denise Van Outen!

We are ONE!

And what a year it has been – from web projects to brand design, and everything in between. We’d like to take the time to thank everyone who has supported us over the last 12 months. It’s been an incredible journey and we couldn’t have done it without your help!

The office is closed tomorrow for some well deserved rest but we will be back at our desks on Monday ready to kick start our second chapter!
