A friendly reminder to support your local florist, green grocer, bakery and butcher. Just admiring their wares and polite smiles and comments of ‘it all looks lovely’ don’t pay our bills. Yes it is convenient and less time consuming to purchase everything from multinational supermarkets but they don’t have friendly staff who have a wealth of knowledge about their products and are happy to share. Please, please support your local, family owned and run small businesses….. otherwise next time you pass their door they may be gone 🥲🥲

Last Sunday was all about E&J. Love this colour palette - I know it’s in black and white 🤦‍♀️ - but trust me the combination of toffee, quicksand and playa roses with blue gum and a hint of blue and touches of moody after dark make for the most stunning bouquets/arrangements. Gorgeous bride and a pretty smitten groom 🥰

Kicked off the new year with this stunning wedding for B&J at Adelaide Oval.
Weather was a challenging factor on this day too requiring last minute changes. Get married in January, the weather will be beautiful 🤔 🤷‍♀️. Classic whites and greens again with a touch of soft pink.

As a Petals Network member they provide both our stores in Malvern and Mt Barker with a website floristinmalvern.com.au and mtbarkerflowerdelivery.com.au. While both these websites offer you, my customer, great service and choice they are also the most expensive way to order flowers from us. Most of you would be unaware that both Petals Network and Interflora charge a fee ($12.95 and $18.09 respectively) for placing an order online, on top of flowers chosen which generally includes the delivery fee. Then they take a percentage (roughly 30%) of the amount you spend. As a small business it makes it difficult to deliver value for money (your money) when we are not adequately reimbursed. I encourage all my customers to firstly check out either websites and interflora.com.au, look through the designs available then call us direct 82710766 Malvern and 83982897 Mt Barker to discuss your choices. We can talk to you about what is currently instore, in season and availability from the wholesalers should we need to order in (24 hours notice on specific colours/flowers advisable).
