🌸 THE END OF AN ERA 🌸

WOW… What a wild ride it has been!!!

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but today is my last day as a florist before I say goodbye and head off in a totally different direction!

This journey began back in 2015, and little did I know just how special it would be. I have loved soo many moments and have made memories that could last me a lifetime, but above all, I just feel so lucky to have had such an amazing experience!

Since day one, I have been shown an unbelievable amount of support, love, and kindness from my community, and it never seemed to end, even to this day! That’s the part that I will be forever grateful for, and it’s something that I’ll never ever forget. It’s the people that I’ve met and the stories, chats, laughter, and even tears that we’ve shared, that have truly made up the heart of this business ❤️❤️

The biggest thank you to my customers who have been my guiding light this entire time, my beautiful mum who has been by my side every step of the way, my best friends who lifted me up when I needed it most, and to the beautiful people who simply shared their kindness with me… you have all brought me an incredible amount of happiness over the last 9 years, and I could never thank you enough! 🙏

While I have no idea whether I will find myself back in the flower world again one day, I’m leaving with the fullest heart and am ready to see what the next chapter holds! ✨

First day back for 2024! 🌸🌸🌸 it was great to talk to so many of you again and to deliver to lots of smiling faces today!

It’s definitely looking like another big year ahead with Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, lots of weddings/events booked in and no doubt, many beautiful flower deliveries to be made throughout the Adelaide Hills!

Keep your eyes out for some new flower styles coming very soon and some new gift box collections I’ve been working on. All of the favourite brands are being restocked and there’s also some amazing new ones on their way too!!

Looking forward to continuing the flower magic this year and as always, I’m SO grateful for your support and for being the kindest people ever to me! 🥹🌸🌸🌸

I had soo much fun creating this beautiful spring garden vibe for Carmen + Charlie’s special day.

The air was filled with charm and love from the moment I arrived to deliver the flowers, with picturesque landscapes and a relaxed atmosphere, it really was the perfect setting for a celebration of modern romance! 🤍✨

Over the next couple of weeks, you may notice a price increase across my services and products. I prefer to be honest and upfront and just want to give you a heads up about this change —

The cost of wholesale flowers has been steadily rising and to continue maintaining the highest quality standards, my prices need to be adjusted accordingly.

I’ve been carefully analysing the situation and exploring various options to create a balance between maintaining the quality you expect from me and running a sustainable business. This change is definitely something I’ve been putting off for quite some time but it is now necessary.

Today marks a special day as this little flower biz turns eight!! 🥂🤍

My latest year in business has been very different to all of the rest and has been mostly spent working privately since I moved out of my Studio in Mount Barker. I absolutely adored my little shop so much and I was sooo so terrified to make that move, but it really has been everything I was dreaming of and more! 💫

The biggest thank you to all of my incredible customers that have followed me since I left and have stayed in contact for all of your flower needs... Your loyalty and support is truly unmatched and I could not be more grateful for that! 🙏

I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting and talking to so many new people as well - a big big thank you to all of you… It makes me so happy to be able to create for you too 💕

It’s been an absolute journey across all of the years with lots of ups and some downs too, lots of growth, sooo many smiles, laughs + hugs and most importantly, countless and countless beautiful flowers!!! 🌸🌸🌸

Being a florist really is my favourite thing in the world. Creating every day with 100% intention to put a smile on someone’s face… there’s really not a lot that could beat it ✨

A picture really is worth a thousand words…

Each order I make I remember, it’s like it gets engrained into my brain forever or something! I might take a photo of it and when I do, I look back and I can feel the exact emotions I had in that very moment again and reflect on the way I was (or wasn’t) feeling on that particular day.

Every bunch is so important to me and I want it to be just right, no matter how big or small the order might be... it’s important to me, it’s important to my customer and it’s important to the person on the other end receiving it! When it is, it gives me the best feeling in the world and when it isnt, you can bet I didn’t send it out for delivery until it was 😂

Not everything I create is necessarily going to be a million times better than the next clever florist could do but what I can promise is, it has a whole lot of thought, heart and love put into it 💞

Having so much passion about what you do can sometimes be a blessing and yes, it can also be a curse at times too (I’m sure some of you can relate!) but if I had the chance to change that part of the way I work, I wouldn’t… I think I would keep my passion over anything 🤍

🌸 I’m moving! 🌸

Hey guys, for those of you who don’t already know, I am officially moving to a private studio on September 10.

Gosh, I feel so grateful to have so many beautiful people supporting my business and keeping me run off my feet with orders every single day… The support is absolutely unbelievable to me and I really can not thank you enough!!

So much has happened since the day I first started at my little shop in 2015 and I have the memories of an absolute lifetime that I’ll be taking with me and holding close to my heart forever. The endless encouragement, kindness, love and support from everyone who has visited over the years is something that I’ll never forget!

For all your flower needs, although I will no longer have a store front to visit, we will still be delivering flowers all throughout the Adelaide Hills! My mobile number and all socials will remain the same so don’t be a stranger and give me a call or shoot me a message if you’d like to organise a delivery. And of course, you can also order online 24/7!

It’s a little bit sad to be saying goodbye to this chapter but at the same time, I am beyond excited for phase two of my flower journey! Thank you so much for being a part of it all so far, I can not wait to see and share with you what’s next to come!! ❤️

Back after what was quite literally the biggest weekend of my life!! With 7 hours sleep in 4 days, the most amount of orders I have ever done and the most grateful heart after Mother’s Day 2022 came to an end...

The biggest thank you to my family who helped me so much and stuck by my side till the very last order was done. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I wouldn’t have been able to get through it all without them!

And of course, a massive massive thank you to everyone who placed an order or came in to get something over the weekend… The amount of support I received is just unbelievable to me, it doesn’t even seem real!

Welcome to all the new faces around here! 😍👋🏻 For any of you who don’t know me, my name is Addy and I am the owner + operator of Adelaide Hills Flower Studio.

I have been working with flowers for ten years now with just under seven of those years being right here with this business.

I absolutely love what I do and I am so grateful that I get to be creative and share my passion for floristry every single day. Putting a smile on peoples faces is my favourite thing to do so I feel super lucky to have found a career that is so incredibly rewarding!
