Introducing DJ Pannak!
With an unwavering passion for music since a young age, DJ Pannak has emerged as a talented and dedicated artist.
Having embarked on a career as a chef, DJ Pannak found solace in the vibrant world of music, which beckoned her to leave her hometown in the Central West of NSW and pursue a university degree in Mulubinba (Newcastle AU).
For the past year, DJ Pannak has tirelessly honed her craft, dedicating countless hours to practice and performance. Her pursuit of excellence led her to participate in the 2022 YOUR SHOT competition, a transformative experience that not only elevated her skills but also ignited a profound passion for drum and bass. Since that pivotal moment, DJ Pannak has been on a whirlwind journey, commanding stages and delighting audiences with electrifying performances.
Beyond the spotlight, she co-founded the UON DJ club at the University of Newcastle, collaboratively fostering a community of like-minded individuals who share a fervent love for music. This vibrant collective has provided a platform for DJ Pannak to showcase her musical prowess and embark on an array of gigs across the Mulubinba region.
Since beginning her DJ journey, DJ Pannak has graced the stages of renowned music establishments in Mulubinba. Notable venues include the Lass O'Gowrie Hotel, The Newcastle Hotel, Customs House, The Great Northern Hotel - Newcastle, Australia, 48 Watt Street, Bar on the Hill, King Street Hotel, and The Argyle House, as well as also maintaining a residency at The Lucky Hotel.
Pannak has also had the privilege of participating in events such as Autonomy Day at the University of Newcastle, as well as providing support for STACE CADET at Made On Sundays, performing at the Interdimensional Solutions doof, as well as alongside the legends at Powder Your Nose and Rhythm At Dusk and will be playing at Hysteria at the Potts Point Hotel in Eora (Sydney AU) later in 2023.
In a recent testament to her talent, DJ Pannak was honoured with the title of the 2023 UON DJ Comp winner, solidifying her status as an emerging force in the Mulubinba scene.
