Choosing a professional photographer is not an easy task there are so many to choose from so how do you choose the right one for you?
Talk to a few, look at their Websites, Facebook & Instagram pages and most of all look at their real reviews.
When we work together with a professional photographer we both want the same thing- we want you to have the best outcome on your wedding day - a personal heartfelt ceremony and amazing photographs that capture those moments.
Simone Addison Photography is one of our favourites and we love working with her because like us she loves what she does and she goes out of her way for every couple. Her photos tell a story and we love that. Here is a little more about her!

Its a very happy 1st Wedding Anniversary to Cam and Robyn who were married at The Pavilion Mindarie on the 10th June 2023.
It was such a pleasure being their Celebrant and we wish them both every happiness with lots and lots more wonderful memories to make together. Big hugs xx
The Yanchep Cabaret Cave is just an amazing venue to have your wedding - no worries about the weather, the acoustics in the cave are amazing and it is such a beautiful place for your wedding photos. We don't charge any extra for travel and I would love to be your Celebrant and join you together as a married couple in this incredible venue - talk to me about making this happen!
Your view from behind the bridal table 🌹
Our little Marriage Chapel is the perfect venue to have a small legal wedding - seating for 12 guests. Tonight another gorgeous couple signed their Notice of Intended Marriage and it won't be long until they are sitting at our signing table signing their legal paperwork.
I can't wait to join them together as husband and wife.....but... "Shhh it's a secret...."
Today we said farewell to this amazing lady........she was loved by so many. In memory of you Sandy and I know you were there with us in spirit today and being so proud of your wonderful family!
Did you know that Vicky from VickyK Productions can not only livestream your weddings to guests that can't attend she can also livestream a loved one's funeral for you and create a beautiful photo tribute. Reach out and see what she can do for you.
Elopements - winter and the rain have finally arrived here in Perth. Did you know that you can elope and have a little registry style wedding with up to 12 guests in our beautiful little wedding chapel for only $500. No stress, no rush, no parking costs and you can choose your own ceremony music and personal vows with no huge price tag. Talk to me about a date for your wedding.
It is so important to make memories together but also so important to capture those memories so you can look back on them in years to come. So many adventures, so many stories, so many years, so much love......
One of my favourite songs.....
Cufflinks make a great gift for your groom, groomsmen, Father of the bride or Father of the groom - only $10. Talk to me about these limited additions.

Today at the South Perth Yacht Club over 300 people came to say farewell to an incredible man. He was a Loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Boss and friend to many. His sons stood and told stories of their Dad and let everyone know just how amazing he was! We had tributes from the people who knew him the best; his family and friends and I was so privileged to be a part of such an incredible afternoon.
Did you know Memorials can be anywhere you choose; it might be at a Yacht Club like this or maybe a Surf Club, your local pub or favourite restaurant, a beautiful park or even your home- there are endless opportunities to hold a Memorial or even a Funeral at a place that means the most to you!
Its a big warm welcome to our love stories; James and Kelly who will be "Saying I do" this November in Wanneroo. I love a theme wedding and we are very excited to be a part of their special day. Getting married their way and counting down the days!
In my travels as a Celebrant I get to meet the most incredible people. I love being able to help families tell their loved one's stories. Funerals used to be so sad and morbid now it truly is a Celebration of that person's life. Of course it breaks my heart to see families grieving and I am grateful that I can make a sad day just that little bit easier. I love being able to see them smile and hear their laughter as they remember the special times they have spent with their loved ones - it truly is an honour to do what I do and it means the world to me to receive feedback like this one from the families. Thank you Leanne for your kind words.
1,000 Weddings - wow it's hard to believe that my incredible Roadie and I are coming up to 1,000 weddings. We can't help but wonder which couple it will be because the new bookings are coming in each week. Could it be you?
Wow today is their first wedding anniversary - these guys are so much fun and so was their wedding. I loved their cake topper!
Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary to a very special couple- Andy and Wanda. I had the pleasure of marrying them at the Tradewinds Hotel on the 28th May 2023. Every wedding is special but when it's your cousin's daughter it is even more special. We loved every minute of this wedding and we want to wish them both a lifetime of happiness. Big hugs xx
FACT -Adult monarchs live for anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks, and females lay eggs and males mate throughout most of this period. (Assuming that they aren't in the generation that migrates.) They die when they get "old," just like people do. They don't die when you release them!
Today we celebrated the life of Eric - the man with the smiling eyes. He was a much loved only child, a loving Dad and Grandpa and friend to many. He was funny and he loved to make people laugh with his wicked sense of humour. He loved to listen to ABBA and watch horror movies. He was frugal and kept everything just in case he might need it one day. Eric was always chasing the elusive win on Lotto and buying Scratchies. He loved his garden, he was young at heart, he was respectful and a true gentleman. He always enjoyed Hungry Jacks or a whiskey or two. But most of all he loved his family unconditionally and he will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
Wow I love this.....
Butterfly Releases can be something very special to include in your wedding ceremony. Butterflies are keeper of wishes. They are released at the end of the ceremony just before the couple walk back down the aisle. You will hear all sorts of silly comments like "its cruel" or worse still "the butterflies will die" please be assured when we do a butterfly release the butterflies are treated with a lot of care and respect. In 14 years we have never had a dead butterfly and my Roadie will check frequently to make sure the butterflies are okay and they will be kept out of the wind and the harsh sun. The breeder will deliver the butterflies in an esky or cold bag and there will be icepacks in the esky to keep them cool and to stop the butterflies from stressing - a bit like bears that hibernate in the winter. They are placed singularly in little triangle cardboard boxes because that is the safest way to transport them. Talk to me about including this butterfly ritual in your ceremony.
Hand Fasting - many moons ago when wedding rings were not "A thing" couples would say their vows to one another and their hands would then be bound as a sign of the commitment they were making to one another. The different coloured ribbons symbolise different things. Talk to me about incorporating this ritual into your wedding ceremony.

It's a big warm welcome to our Love Stories Matthew & Tilly who will be married in November this year at the beautiful gardens in the Harold Boas Gardens in West Perth - it truly is an oasis in the city. Big thank you for coming to see us today and getting their Notice of Intended Marriage paperwork signed off. We are so excited to be a part of their special day.
My Roadie and I are so proud to say that we will once again be one of the preferred vendors at the Swan Valley Wedding Open Day at The Vines Resort on the 7th July 2024 - you will find us outside the Boardroom in the same spot where we have been for over 12 years now. I have performed hundreds of weddings at this incredible venue and it is still our favourite Swan Valley Wedding Venue. We would love to meet you and hear all about your wedding plans. See you there!
We are very excited to welcome Brad and Simon to our Love Stories. After 20 years this gorgeous couple will be saying "I do" at the incredible Rothwood in June this year. I know they had so many celebrants to choose from and I am so happy they chose me!
We really do have the nicest couples and Ben and Victoria were such a pleasure to be around on their wedding day at Joondalup Resort Weddings. It was a windy, hot yet sprinkles of rain at the park yesterday when I joined Glenn and Jenn together in marriage. After a very eventful rehearsal with an uninvited guest giving me grey hair the only problem we had was the rain and that only lasted a few minutes at a time. I am always grateful to have my fabulous Roadie by my side making sure everything is perfect on the day. We are looking a little windswept in this photo lol
The Haka for Glenys warmed my heart and my soul and gave us all goosebumps, big thank you to Matt and these wonderful men!
The dancing warmed all our souls as we were all mesmerized by the movements from these wonderful ladies. Thank you to Kerry and her girls from Goolamwiin
It was such an honour to be a part of this beautiful Memorial for Glenys (Ninny) and I got to work today with the most amazing people. Big thank you to Trevor, Kerry and their gorgeous girls from Goolamwiin for such a wonderful start to Glen's Memorial.
We are all on this journey called life together and we never know when our time is drawing near. For some people it is a long and winding road filled with so many memories and for others it seems a much shorter journey. It's the loved ones we leave behind that question the why and how their loved ones could leave them so soon. Leaving an empty place in their hearts that can never be filled. Just reminds me that we need to make the most of every day and love the ones we are with.
There is always a special magic that appears when couples choose to have live music during their wedding ceremony. This was the magic from Ezer Eve and Riley from Champagne Wedding Duo that appeared during the signing of the marriage certificates yesterday at Sandalford Wines for Mick and Carla's wedding.
Here we are at the beautiful Sandalford Winery for Connor and Holly's wedding rehearsal and wow this venue gets better every time we come here - they have done so much work and it looks amazing. A big thank you goes to the bridal party for coming along today to the rehearsal. It makes such a difference when you have a rehearsal and they all did so well. Only 5 more sleeps until the big day.
You don't have to spend a fortune to have a beautiful wedding ceremony setup and location. Here we are at Central Park in Joondalup and yes this is one of our ceremony setups.
Todays medieval wedding takes place here at the amazing @wanneroobotanicgardens. Its Chris and Chelsea's turn to say "I do". #wanneroobotanicalgardens #medievalwedding #northernsuburbswedding #weddingcelebrant #wedlockerswa #amazingwedding #amazingweddingvenue #loveandmarriage #bestweddingever
Don't forget to have some dancing lessons before your wedding. It is so special to watch a choreographed bridal waltz. Contact Chase Dance Studio and get those lessons booked and this could be you.
Weddings seem to follow us even in Bali when we are on holidays. To all those wonderful couples getting married today we hope our wedding is everything you have dreamed of and more. Sending lots of love from Bali.
We had a wedding here this afternoon so we have left it all set up just so you can see how beautiful it is here when we do little legal weddings. We only charge $450 and you can bring 12 guests with you and your professional photographer is welcome too. I love night time weddings - no hot sun, no glare and no stress what more can you ask for?
How wonderful it was to watch Harley and Alice do their choreographed bridal waltz that they had taken time to learn before their wedding. They did so well and I loved the smoke machine and fireworks that set the scene so beautifully.
Boots was the best ring bearer ever at his Dad and Mum's wedding yesterday. I am so glad one of the guests captured this moment when he took the rings to his Dad and Mum.
